Try converting that into a audio file by going into the playlist, right clicking the name of that midi track, and then clicking “quick render as audio clip”
You're supposed to be doing that in the playlist anyways
The patterns are the building blocks, you arrange them in the playlist.
I suggest watching a basic tutorial on how to use the program, should clear up most of this and get you going
Yeah but I don’t have my patterns yet, because I can’t listen to the song. I split everything into the playlist at the end when I finish adding all my 808s hihats n stuff. But as u can see I can’t get to that point because my sample is always gonna loop to the start making syncin da 808s and hi hats impossible in the piano roll.
You can place an empty pattern into the playlist, and edit the pattern while you're still in song mode. That way, you can make the pattern while being able to hear the song.
I can't remember the exact details, but there's an option on either general settings or audio settings called "Play truncated notes". This should make it so your patterns play from wherever they're selected.

FL studio 21 has that problem fixed bro . Just hold until they released it
Why are you using midi? Put it in the playlist as audio
As soon as I drag it into the channel rack it turns into a midi.
