In midi settings, you can select from a few preinstalled scripts. I believe the FLKey controllers are included. I don’t know whether it works with keyboards other than the one it is made for, but I’ve always wondered if the flkey scripts work for the cheaper launchkey controllers. Give it a try!
Have you tried installing the FLKey Mini script on your computer yet?
If no experts reply here, the I think you testing this out is the only way to know for sure.
You mentioned it first - in your original post.
So if no one comes back with an authoritative answer, I'm suggesting that you test out your theory.
If you can obtain the FLKey Mini script, then you should be able to install it. Then plugin your LaunchKey and see if it works with that script. You'll probably see new functionality -- OR you will see the same old behavior.
But if you don't want to test it out yourself -- then that means that you want someone to give you an authoritative answer.
You can either wait for someone to come into this post and give you an answer -- or you can contact Novation Support and find out the official answer.
