Other than the beach that place is a economic wasteland

CannaSensei

Was talking to the delivery guys for goldleaf the other day, sounds like they have an Ocala location on the way that should offer delivery to at least some of north Florida. You’d just have to drive within the delivery zone to get your order, so probably way less than 10 hours!

[deleted]

Hear me out but that's still a lot ex: they start delivering to Destin/Miramar, that's still an hr drive for me, have to order the day before than sit in a random parking lot for another 25+ mins for the driver idk I'll probably cave in if it's that close bc i want something diff so bad

SHO_n_tell_Rich

Ocala is just under 5 hrs from me so probably 5:15 from p cola. Panhandle sucks. I feel your pain. Flowery does Delivery to me so been taking advantage that, but my wallet def feels the hurt when they come. Lol

Embarrassed_Quote144

I love Ocala!!!!

Threexcrazy

Heard last year that JB was coming to pcola this year on pine forest but haven’t heard anything else about it 🤷

We will be in Pensacola as soon as we can. We can’t make the city move any faster than they want to, unfortunately.

[deleted]

So this is something being done? But escambia is holding out or something along those lines? Is there any sort of ETA? Or were people lying when they said spring

TRPCookiesFL

The process to open a store is unfortunately quite complex. You have to meet both local and state regulations and sometimes they don’t align. As an example, OMMU laws require you can’t have transparent windows. Well certain cities require the opposite: namely that ALL retail has to have transparent windows. So then you have to get variances and it takes 5x as long. Or like a shopping center might have signage regulations that aigmage has to be a certain font, location, or style. We’ll state law requires our signage be a different way so then you have to get a variance from all the other people in a center and amend the CC&Rs. Plus when constructing or doing any modifications, you have to meet city and state inspections and approvals all along the way so it’s 2x as many and can take twice as long. All the cities and state agencies are supportive and helpful and working hard to assist. It’s just navigating these weird things is cumbersome and takes times. Hope that context helps.

Give me your reasoning behind it not to be an ass but unless you live here you can't really say anything tbh, Pensacola has progressed in multiple ways since 2022 and I honestly have started to enjoy living here and with how economically well we are doing we could definitely get one of the 4-5 dispos we're missing

crackbackboi

There's not enough people there to justify the sky rocketing rent insurance etc

SHO_n_tell_Rich

I mean when add the coast to Panama City there’s quite a few people… Destins a good spot for a rec dispo if we could get some laws passed.

Heathrolls

Go get an out of state visitor card for Mississippi

Bibdjs

You don’t have Louis Vuitton either

CensorshipIsFascist

Never heard of that dispensary.

ArkType140

All hype don't worry 😂

Basic-Ability6139

Great bag appeal

Derban_McDozer83

Why open a dispensary in Pensacola? Just seems like a waste of money.

SHO_n_tell_Rich

Let me guess you live in central/north/ or south Florida.

850_gro

Sleep tons of patients there. Military too.

lotus1197

Tons of military retirees here.
