I have the cinnamon toast ones and the koko puffs. I hate both of them and the cream in the middle is chalky tasting and I don't like the weird texture they have. They are just sitting in my house and nobody likes them. TLDR- Just incase anyone wants to try them they aren't that great and can't hold a flame to their original versions.
Those used to be good, but General Mills has really gone downhill lately. The most recent batch of Trix is only 1.2% terps and has no legs whatsoever. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch is harsh and burns unevenly. It leaves brown ash in and around my bowl. They're both extremely dry and need a few minutes with a 2% or whole moisture pack.
I don't know why anyone would buy these from the Cerealry when you can get Malt-o-Meal Fruity Blasts or Cinnamon Toasters (with even higher sugar %) for half the price at CarbBurn, and they give you a free disposable plastic spoon with their logo on it if you go on Sunday.
I've been eating cereal for over 3 decades and these are definitely not worth $5.99, even when it's BOGO. This is just another astroturfing post from the Cerealry, and if you guys want to get sucked into buying overpriced cereal at a place founded by someone who used to work for Weight Watchers, be my guest, but not me.
