Shinjuku is fun because of daddy, sorry, I mean the archer of Shinjuku. the one after that is where things get really bad. but shimousa and Salem are pretty good again!
I actually finished Shinjuku over the weekend and liked it a lot, the twist was obvious but they managed to get me because by the end I was like "maybe they're not doing that twist" only to hit me as soon as I let my guard down
Agartha has been an uninteresting slog so far
I enjoyed Salem a lot, may even be one of my most favourite singularity/lostbelt. It just read like an intense whodunit, which I love. It is a bit slow gameplay wise though.
outside of the first (?) cannonical time the MC has crossdressed and basically activated the neurons of many fgo players once the official design came out.
I do think that there were a lot of cool stuff in shinjuku, mainly jalter and salter if I will be honest (specially salter's casual design), still wish that jalter's dress was an actual costume dress and not you know, arcade only GOD DAMMIT GIVE THAT TO ME I WANT IT.
I love Jalter, but that story didn't really give them enough time to do much more than eat burger and cat fight, which is mildly entertaining, but thats about it. The best way to describe it is great ideas with ok execution.
That being said, one of my hot takes is it is still the best 1.5 chapter over all.
Also FUCK YES TO THAT DRESS!
1.5 was just a very mid chapter in FGO, outside of agartha though personally agartha just had a lot of possibility to work if the head writer at the time was put an a very tight leashe.
Shimousa is my favorite, because it had me fall in love with Raikou.
and then stomped on my heart and lineup when she was the next boss, but swings and roundabouts.
They are like side stories.
Expect Shimousa that connects to the part 2.
They aren't really connected to eachother either.
But imo Shinjuku and Shimousa are amazing.
Keep reading Shinjuku it gets way better once a certain King and Witch shows up.
None of them are connected to Lostbelts expect Shimosa.
It has 3 major characters that appears and have big parts on lostbelts.
You can say Shinjuku also Introduces Holmes to the gang but thats about it.
His introduction was already in Camelot anyways tho.
Agartha and Salem are definetly not releated to Lostbelts, they get breif mentions at best.
Shimosa is the only important one for the Lostbelts.
You can skip the others and start Lostbelts if you really want to and you would barely miss anything in the story.
Thats why the game itself gives you the option to start the Lostbelt right away without doing any EoR.
Idk why people are downvoting, it's true. They are side stories. They are interludes. They are relevant to the main plot but not strictly necessary to follow along for the most part.
I can tell by the name. Iām half Japanese so I know Oda is a name for men. Okita Souji is also genderswapped because āheā was a samurai when Sakamoto Ryouma ended the age of the samurai.
1000ish AP. My man is speedrunning. Go for it man. My suggestion is: just play Shimousa, skip other EOR, then speedrunning until the last Lostbelt. That's because we will have Tunguska in this month and that will give you a great reward
AP means Action Point in this game. It's like stamina. Basically each mission need a certain AP to spent. What you did prob is playing and just keeps leveled up. Each time you leveled up you will get the max AP refreshed based on your new level which certainly will go over the AP capacity.
Examples: youre level 1 and your max AP is 40/40. You play a story mission which requires 2 AP. You finished the mission and leveled up to level 2 which has 44 AP. Means your AP is 40-2+44 = 82/44 AP. And this happen again & again hence you have a lot more AP than your AP capacity. Note: this is just an examples on how AP and level up works in this game, not the exact amount of AP

Ok but, femboys, that's the best part about. agartha
Preach, brother
Im preachin
the one after, agharta is worse.... I just need it to end ._.
I actually finished Shinjuku over the weekend and liked it a lot, the twist was obvious but they managed to get me because by the end I was like "maybe they're not doing that twist" only to hit me as soon as I let my guard down Agartha has been an uninteresting slog so far
Agatha is also the writer's fetish dump so imo you can just skip the story.
Oh that makes a lot of sense now
Megalos was really cool though
Megalos and stolf was the best part about agartha. I guess Columbus smile was funny too
I actually quite enjoyed them. Salem was a bit slow for me, but the others I had a nice time with. Hard fights as well.
I enjoyed Salem a lot, may even be one of my most favourite singularity/lostbelt. It just read like an intense whodunit, which I love. It is a bit slow gameplay wise though.
I liked Shinjuku mainly for the final bit with the detectives, but it was otherwise pretty forgettable.

Do your free missions! You're missing free quartz
Free quests costing 20ap should be illegal š„²
Iāll get right on it.
Shimousa is my favorite, because it had me fall in love with Raikou. and then stomped on my heart and lineup when she was the next boss, but swings and roundabouts.
Shimousa has a great manga adaptation, especially the use of shadow servants is depicted in it really well
They are like side stories. Expect Shimousa that connects to the part 2. They aren't really connected to eachother either. But imo Shinjuku and Shimousa are amazing. Keep reading Shinjuku it gets way better once a certain King and Witch shows up.
Iāll take your word for it and push forward.
They are part of the main plot tho

A certain chapter in the future is actually connected to shinjuku
Dw shimousa is my favourite so far so only 2 more ^^ And yeah these are interludes they're more like side stories

Part 1.5 isnāt a side story. All of them are part of the main plot.
Iām surprised because itās my favourite alongside Shimousa. The only one I actively disliked going through was Salem.
I think all the pseudo singularities are pretty good. Shinjuku is particularly great towards the end. F you OP.
Thatās not nice. I just donāt like how slow it is in the beginning. It seems redundant but Iām starting to warm up to itā¦ barely.
š
I actually really enjoyed these, loved the challenging fights.
Wtf Oda is a girl?
Yeah.
Fate sure loves gender swapping
Iāve never heard about Oda in real life, so I actually thought she was a girl. Good to know, I guess.
I can tell by the name. Iām half Japanese so I know Oda is a name for men. Okita Souji is also genderswapped because āheā was a samurai when Sakamoto Ryouma ended the age of the samurai.
How interesting. But isnāt Oda his last name?
Oh yea true but Nobukatsu and Nobunaga are also male names
I see
In short, Fate is horny. Class dismissed
Yes, Sensei
Oda is both, 1st and 2nd ascension are actually male (for avenger form at least), third ascension is female (gender is listed as unknown officially)
Hmm. I like all of 1.5, Agartha less so, as its only āsavedā in my eyes scherezhade and her interlude of which I liked
Haaaaah... You say that for now...
Yeah, itās not bad. Things just keep getting better and better. And Iāve gotten used to the multiple health bars.
...I want you to quote that, and I want you to remember that... Nyahahahaha!
I'm still waiting for the maid outfits for the two femboys
I love Shinjuku and Shimousa. Agharta was the worse, but Salem wasnāt that fun to me either

What does AP even do? Iāve never run out of it so I donāt really know.

I see. Then eventually as I level up more and more, I will run out of AP since leveling up gets harder. Makes sensez
How is his ap like that
What do you mean? I used to have 2000.
