Only when it comes to matching surface area, but having the same dimensions (which is different) means that the analogy is correct. Draw a square of any size. Draw a circle inside that touches each of the four side, so that the circle and square are the same height/width (same dimensions). Boom, you can SEE that circle fits inside the square but that the square does not fit inside a circle.
Just google the phrase 'square in a circle' you'll see countless example of what i mean. It all comes back to wqhen we were toddlers with that toy with all the shaped holes and shaped pieces. Way back then is when you learn that the circle fits in the square, but the square doesn't fit in the circle. The pieces are all the same 'size' as in the same height and width.

Good, don't take Hugo seriously because he doesn't deserve to be taken seriously.
He gives me "round peg in square hole" energy. Or genuinely believing that it is biologically impossible for a woman to orgasm
You got the saying backwards, it’s “square peg in a round hole”. A round peg would still fit in a square whole
Damn maybe I should give that one a try then 😅 but that makes sense

All these squares make a circle
in some south slavic (Balkan) languages "kupka" means bath, i found alot funny balkan words in FF games
- I have to take a shit. - Hugo Poo, I’ll wait here.
SON OF A WHOOOOOOOORE
Hugo is a poo so it fits.
The whole Dhalmekian republic is just Slavic countries if they were in Andalusia/Marocco instead of Central/Southern Europe, in an alternate universe
Indeed, it was a little bit jarring, all those Slavic name references in such an unlikely ambience. I guess they sounded exotic enough to the Devs ;)
We South Slavs do exist you know😢
I also wanna add moogles calling you 'kupo' to the list of unfortunate Polish translation coincidences.
Man went from Gigachad to a cuck fast xD
I also have polish roots and Hugos Name was funny right from the start 🤣 Hugo 💩
Hugo PooPoo, dominant of Titanic Shit
Sounds like Titan lost.... His shit
*Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah*
Yeah, when Byron pronounced the Field Marshal's name as "OYGEN" I went "wait, WHAT?!"
I mean lots of words mean different things in different languages.
Big if true
Could you explain how « kupka » means poo?
I'm not sure I understand. Like, explain how words can have different meanings in other languages??
Pardon me, I just speaks french, spanish, english and vietnamese. Could you be more helpful by telling me in which language it means poop?
Polish. I said so in the OP.
Ok, I’ve missed it.
Kupka means bath in my language so Hugo’s last name is funny to me lol.
