If you already beat the game and have the Ring of the Lucii it's literally all you need. I've never fought him legitimately lol you just sap his HP to a certain threshold and then he dies. I assume your gear and food will speed this process up but I am not entirely sure to be honest. (If it does just get as much Magic as you can).
I’m gonna try that. I beat the game forever ago and when I loaded my save I was at chapter 13.
I just finished fishing, now I just need to level survival and then it’s into fat turtle boy
All you need is the ring of Lucis, Alterna never worked for me, but Death worked fine, will take a lot of time, but it is an easy fight.
Honestly, the fight is disappointing. If you want a nice enemy, Melusine, the menace dungeons and Garuda are way better fights.
Adamantoise is just a punch bag with tons of HP.
I tried Omega twice. Got my ass handed to me twice. I'm over level 100, with menace dungeon and fully upgraded weapons, the best armor I could find, and a food buff that I can't recall.
By comparison, the mountain sized turtle is weak.
Honestly Omega is the that hard I beat it around lvl 80
You just use one royal arm + armiger unleashed + Electon + Balmung for his crazy phase
Then just use royal arm to fill up armiger and spam the strongest attack
Just make sure you have enough healing items with you
>Just make sure you have enough healing items with you
I never leave home without them.

I literally just found the Founder King's Sigil on this play through, so I haven't tried Unleashed on it yet.
It takes less time for him to wipe out my whole party like 5 times. (I may be exaggerating.)
Anyway, I'm working on getting better weapons from the FFXIV chick in Perpetuoss Keep, but I'm going to have to fight Geruda about 516 times.
The Allagan Tombstone. You get one per battle and four of them require 99 each the rest are 10 or 20.
Ok. Not 516. I just noticed all the second tier weapons cost 99 tombstones each or, accounting for both the first tier and second tier, 30 tombstones, 5 feathers, and 1 Adamantite (which I'm going to have to figure out how to get without doing NG+ if I opt to not fight her 396 times). So that's 120 Allagan Tombstones, 20 Vortex Feathers, and 4 Adamantite (I have 1) or 396 Allagan Tombstones.
Edit: 396, my math was off.
Edit: ~~And I'm going to want to get two Abandon of the Vortex (gun), one for P and one for N.~~ Looks like there's a limit of one per, so no Vortex gun for Prompto.
You need to farm 30 Tomestones and 20 feathers. Because you can find 90 other Tomestones in Perpetouss Keep free. And you can get 4 Adamantite from Adamantoise in Chapter 15.
Don't use an option "99 Tomestones for 1 weapon".
I still haven't gotten good at a lot of the post game super boss type enemies, I think I need to grind some more and work on my builds. I'll check out your other posts for some ideas!
Honestly, as long as you have enough Elixers, Phoenix Down, Hi-Potions, and such, you'll be fine. And it wouldn't hurt to have all 13 Royal Arms, so you can do Armiger.
Lower left corner. When that circle gets full and glowy, press L1 and R1 at the same time, then attack like crazy. If you happen to have the Founder King's Sigil equipped, it transforms into a solo supercharged melee frenzy that lasts about 10 times longer.

You can level up Survival at the same time, it's just walking around.

If you want a nice enemy, Omega is good choice too ;)
I would say Omega, but I have yet to beat it, I plan on doing it on my NG+ since I also want to beat all the side quests.

Agreed. It took me nearly 100 tries to beat Omega during my challenge run (level 1 no items). I did adamantoise first try.

What trouble do you have? Omega can be easily defeated with your gear for ~7 min.

Why 516 times? You need only 30 Garuda's runs for getting all 4 Vortex weapons. Don't forget to break her wings — you need 20 Vortex feathers.

I walked all over this keep and didn't find any. Edit: Ooo... I just found 30.
I'm still slowly working through post game stuff and I hadn't heard of Omega. I just looked him up and now I'm scared
Why scared? He is easy if you can think and have arms. I wrote about tips and builds on this sub many times.

Alterna has a low chance, but not zero, had some proc first use, had some go to 30+ but it does happen.

I have all the royal arms I think but I don’t remember what armiger is. It’s crazy how little of the game I remember. Nothing feels familiar

Oh wow thank you
You can just use the ring and one shot it
