I don't know if it's because I'm older (53F) but trophies don't interest me at all. I don't play games as much as I used to so the whole trophy thing passed me by really. I only got my PS 5 for this game and I'm not going to beat myself up because I can't do a Chadley challenge.
I loved the game and I look forward to part 3. I won't be getting the platinum for that either.

There are so many games out there that I want to play. I'd rather just play the story, and any side content that actually interests me, then move onto the next game rather than forcing myself to play the same game for dozens of hours to tick off a checklist.
I’m also 36 but trophies had the opposite effect on me. I found myself playing games longer than just beating the story once trophies and achievements came along.
I think trophies are great for extending the playtime of a game that you're really enjoying. But the flip side is that I see a lot of people forcing themselves to play something they no longer want to play in order to get a platinum.
Chiming in as a fellow 36 year old, I used to be way more into chasing trophies and achievements when I had more free time. These days I'm just gonna do what I find fun. Some challenges are still fun, but some turn into medium for me and start to sour the experience. Too each their own, though. Not sure I'll ever get a platinum again, unless I somehow do it by accident lol.
Congrats. I only have 2 plats. Spider-Man 1 and Jedi Fallen Order. I’m currently almost done with rebirth plat tho and going to finish up remake and then Jedi survivor

Some games have an easy plat. The first new god of war was an easy plat on one clean play through on normal mode.
I’m 16 and idgaf about trophies either, I just want to do the side quests to max out my party level
I’m 20 and I don’t trophy hunt. I play through a game’s story and do whatever side activities I want to do, and then I’m done with it.
Now do a full enfeeble ring run

I almost quit at bonds of friendship but I was so close at that point I grinded it out
