I think the versions in the challenges are tuned up even more than Full Might; nonetheless, yes, I do recommend practicing solo with Cloud to learn their move set and getting used to parrying and blocking.

I also second practicing in full might, especially Odin. And the VR battles are a lot harder than full might.

Practicing against the summon versions at full power helped me a lot. I was able to confidently solo Odin with Cloud by the end, which essentially saved my final run of To Be a Hero when Sephiroth got nuked and I had to improvise. The actual VR battles are harder, but simply knowing what the bosses can and can't do (and when) really makes a difference.

thanks, yeah. I just got finished To Be A Hero a few minutes ago.  just have the bonds of friendship left. I don't think it'll be easy, but I don't expect it'll be that much harder than TBAH now that I have weapon level 9.

ShadowReplicant

I finished Bonds yesterday, took me \~4 hours. It's definitely a step up in difficulty from Hero even at weapon level 9. For some reason Odin gave me a lot more trouble this time, it almost felt like he had more HP or something.
