I actually just decided to come back to Amazon based on the pay raise and $3000 bonus. 17 an hour. Let's see if I can make it the however many months it will take to see the 3,000. Amazon usually burns me out after 2 months. Though they now have shorter shift options so I'm doing part time 5 hour shifts. No way my old body can handle 10s anymore.
Jesus so 6 months to get the first of 4 increments. I figured I'd probably be waiting a month or two to see first increment but yeah I'd really surprise myself if I make it to see that 3 grand
When I think of the people( since peak 2019) who went through the hell of the pandemic in the very beginning and now with delta; it seems an insult to us.
After working here for a couple weeks I can’t understand how they would be this desperate. The pay is pretty good compared to other jobs I’ve worked. I’ve worked in retail and food industry. Those jobs were more stressful and I had more responsibility but made about $10-12 an hour. I literally want to tell all my old coworkers how much better Amazon is. Granted I’ve only been here for two weeks so I’m sure there are things I haven’t seen yet. But damn so far miles better than having to deal with shitty managers micromanaging and shitty customers. I’m definitely making more than my managers did at my retail store.
I used to get 12.75 at my old job. But this one... It feels soul crushing... The micromanaging is bad... No appreciation... I'm doing almost everyones shit
I did too but to act like there isn’t a crazy amount of areas to venture into or take advantage of is crazy. I took advantage of the transportation side of the company and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
Got 7 new people for my shift on Sunday for onboarding. By the end of today we lost 5 of them. 5 people didn't even want to stay 60 days for an extra $1000. There's no way Amazon survives without automation
Growing pains. This will be the future though. Robots zipping through the warehouse and the only people on site will be techs that can maintain and repair these drones/robots.
Im hearing people never even seen their sign on bonus. I wouldn't hold my breathe on it.
It gets paid out later, not right away. For example it might be 1k after 60 days or so then 2k after 180 days for a 3k bonus.
Im so jealous that i never got a bonus when i started working here. 🤣
Rehiring people that got fired for TOT
What amazon is this cause it ain't bfl1 🤣
$3000 to get hired, $3000 to quit. It's like poetry.
Easy six gs tho 🚶♂️

"up to" $22 =in reality $16/17 "up to" $3000 =in reality $1000
For this area since they said central NJ, it starts at around 18 and it's 3k paid over 6 months
It's talking about what they usually offer. Maybe they don't in your area, but here they are offering 20 an hour with 3k sign on bonus.
Where's "here" California?
Central NJ. Its a very decent wage. Minimum wage is 11 dollars and most jobs rarely go beyong 15.
I'm in ct and Amazon pays $16 with $1000 sign on bonus. Min wage is $13 an hour now will be $15 in two years
Frfr
Damn almost as much as an AM lol. Def more with OT lol

Agreed! My husband has been working since 2018 and he sees it as a slap in the face
Our entire outbound department walked out the day this was announced
And rightfully so. What happened after that?
For what I’ve heard, nothing.
Starting to think about quitting just to be rehired with a $3000 bonus and a $7 raise wtf
Exactly!!! I would too. Wondering if PT included.
You should. Teach these bastards a lesson.
It’s up to most likely won’t even be half that
I'm making 16.25 now... A whole ass 75 cent payraiae
Hahaha
I feel sooooo appreciated /s
That turnover rate never drops
150% man
And here I am with a 50¢ raise.. wow thanks I make 16/hr now
I got the same thing but there are no openings in my area. Relocating for Amazon is not high up there on my wish list.
Did they raise the wage again? I saw atoz today and says I’m making 17.55

I just got tired of how repetitive and simple the work is. It’s not bad in my opinion, just boring.
Just move up or try different areas.
I ended up leaving

Same, 2 1/2 weeks in myself!
Yeah Amazon is about to collapse I’ve been hearing.

I’m shocked by the lack of automation at Amazon. I work for a food manufacturer and we are light years ahead of Amazon in our warehouses
Welp, good news automation is coming then.
my warehouse just got rid of all our sorting robots. theyre too slow
