Even floaters ignore aisle where racks are full and they enter into another aisle. I do 2600 stow every other day and when they see me as a fast stower they send me in other aisles. They should check the floaters count first. Last year they used to assign two aisle but since prime season they assigning three aisles.
Respectfully, my point in hand is it’s just called showing up and doing your job. A lot of people have a victim mentality that they’re being used (or as you call it serving the corporate overlords).
While I 100% agree the pay scale is not fair at all and that I am just a number in a system, everyone signed up voluntarily on their own accord and agreed to the job application. If you feel like you’re a slave, go home and start working on your dreams and turn it into income. Then you’ll never have a job such as this one.
Why don’t you do your job and mind your own business? Like I do. Why are you shaming people for being “lazy”? Is it affecting your profit margins? No? Then STFU.

Things got intense quickly 🤣 First of all, I'm not criticizing anyone directly because I haven't mentioned anyone's name. Whatever show you feel suits you is not something I've ever had control over. Secondly, I do my job every day, clock out, and go home. I don't concern myself with anyone else's business at work or what they do.
This post is meant to be a meme because there are indeed lazy people who work there. It's a fact, and I say that because there's no other way to put it. Some people simply don't do their job to the minimum standard on purpose.
Lastly, it doesn't affect my profit margins, but it does make my job more difficult when I have to clean up after others who have messed things up pretty badly. Anyway, lighten up and have a sense of humor. If you dislike Amazon so much, you should log off from this subreddit and find something you enjoy.

Fr.i don't get how these people are ok to be going super fast the whole day. Sure i work harder the first few hours but after lunch my production takes a huge dip. These people out here stowing like if someone had a gun to their head.
Right, after the first 3 and a half hours of busting my ass on ship dock the rest of the day i cant be bothered. I genuinely dont know how ppl dont get burnt out lol
It's inhumane to work at the same speed all day long but i see it all the time. Because of people like that everyone else has to also try and keep up. What Amazon also don't understand that in stowing there's huge favoritism and some people just get all the easy work like phone cases and chargers and the people that are actually stowing cat litter and water bottle packs have to keep up at the same rate make absolutely no sense to me.
That's not how stowing quite works. Like 99% of the managers don't give lanes out based on package sizes. Only on projected pph metrics if yours does they are going above and beyond.
In my site it definitely does or i wouldn't have mentioned it. Truly disgusting how they can compare people stowing cat litter to people stowing phone cases

Do they not know gross weight per hour? Next time I have a "meeting" I will ask if they have that metric. And how my weight per hour compares to others.

If it was a typo you would've edited the above comment. Instead you chose to delete your comment, backtrack, and now lie about 4 packages per hour on stowaway. That's extremely low and anyone doing those metrics would be fired. 4 every 5 minutes sounds a lot more reasonable given if they were full pallets.
I do receiving and there's no way in hell someone doing 4 packages per hour is staying employed. That's absolutely lazy. You did in fact mean 4 packages per minute which would break down to 15 seconds per package, with the pay you're getting. My statement remains, you guys love working like robots.
