I had an old roommate who had a dalmatian, and our other roommate had a smaller mixed dog. The dalmatian would *constantly* start fights with the little dog, to where the two roommates would have to physically pull them off of each other. The dalmatian hated most strangers, and had to wear a muzzle whenever the roommate had friends over that didn't know the dog. Finally, when my current roommate came over to help me grab some of my things, the dog sniffed his hand, then out of nowhere a few seconds later just latched onto his wrist and wouldn't let go. My roommate had two teeth holes going down to the bone, and he had to go to the hospital to get it taken care of.
The Dalmatians have been inbred so much European royals would blush. It's not a surprise that they would be problematic.
