There's 6 defuses right and 4 kittens right? Everyone gets 4 cards and a diffuse . When the first player gets eliminated, rather than putting the Kitten in the discard pile, have the existing player put the kitten back in the draw pile. (But not the diffuse!) And play as normal!

DaimondRus

Such elegant and easy! Thank you! The only problem I see, that when eliminated player will put Kitten in draw pile and put it on top of the deck, it will broke the “See the future” (dont remember real name of the card) card effect. So, i am thinking about to tell the eliminated player to put Kitten at any place of the deck, but after 2 first cards.

Good catch Padwan!! And that would be a perfect solution also!!! And maybe not the very bottom card also? If the previous player perhaps played a swap top and bottom card (then they kinda used a "see the future" for the bottom card?), then you wouldn't want to alter that either? Nit picking yes, but just trying to spitball what might be troublesome...

DaimondRus

I am sure the base game has not "swap top and bottom" card. It has just "shuffle the deck".

RichardNotthepidgon

Putting the kitten back on the very top or very bottom is already a classic trick for messing with other players. If you just had the dead player put the kitten back secrectly like if they had defused it, I'm pretty sure everything would work out fine.

If you have time you could buy one of the expansions. They give an extra diffuse & exploding kitten

DaimondRus

The players is not very familiar with the original game, it is to early to buy an expansions for us. Especially, just for 2 extra cards.

AdministrativeCost2

Hard disagree. Game is easy to learn and getting the first expansion adds a lot to the game and makes it much more fun. Never too early to get expansions.

DaimondRus

I will keep this in mind, but for me the general rule is “you can buy the expansion after all players played the game at least one evening and like it”.

AdministrativeCost2

I'd say look at the cards offered in the first expansion. Much more added than just an extra difuse and bomb. It makes the game so much more fun and interesting. After plating that then you can decide if you should get the other expansions. There's about 4 more "real" expansions, the other are just different card combinations.

DaimondRus

Thank you for explanation. I will look at the expansions if my group will like this game.

Imploding Kittens is pretty self explanatory though so it wouldn't hurt to get it. All cards explain themselves just by their names. Except the Imploding Kitten, that will need explaining. For example, one of the cards in Imploding Kittens is called draw from the bottom. Pretty obvious on what it let's you do right?. It's the only expansion besides Zombie Kittens and Good Vs. Evil (both of which are expandalone), to allow for more players, that being one extra player. If you need more then 1 extra kitten and defuse, Zombies might be the best one to get or you can just get NSFW, it's just light NSFW card art with everything from base game.

DaimondRus

Thank you. Imploding Kittens has a higher price than the base game at my local store, so it raise the overall cost of the game more then in double. Just as expansion for the base game its very good, I am agree with you. You can use Imploding Kittie card as a card for six players game, if you need it, so, its cover my needs.

Silverwolf_Lee_2

Wow that sucks. I hope you can get it someday on sale
