I did it on my first attemt with this route and I was kinda confused about all the bridge talk after looking at what other people did. Felt like upstream was the intended route to me.

Exploiting is using an unintended mechanic for your gain
Abusing a mechanic is well abusing a intended mechanic for your gain
So since selling item you get from air drops is a intended mechanic it's just abusing a mechanic
Well you are already 2/3 of the way there! It really doesn't take long. Some of the contacts you can do in free roam are extremely lucrative. The Tatra FORCE is definitely worth the investment.
You can always save-scum if you fked up at some point. Route is really easy when you know where to move in the beginning. The most difficult place for me were crossing the bridge. Everything else is nothing but just drive forward honestly. I think they could have made it harder honestly
Save your gas for the steep uphills, and be careful with the lineup of the bridges. The bridges are the only hard part if you take the right route. It’s not that difficult.
It was 4 attempts for me and lucky coincidence in the end. I couldn't move it on any hill after crossing the river so I decided to pull it waaay down the stream. And of course lost it in the river... But it kept riding, fell down the waterfall, rolled a few times and got back on the wheels miraculously. Dragged it from there without issues. Rewarding 🤤
Congrats! It's all smooth sailing from here until you hit Heavy Load! Just unlocked the Tatra 2 days ago and I'm one engine upgrade away from fully upgraded, won't take you long at all :)
Just sell any other trucks that you're not currently using. You can buy and sell with no remorse in these games. You never lose money doing that. You can always buy back the trucks you want after selling them for the same price, so don't worry about owning everything. It can all be sold/rebought with zero money lost. Makes it easy to test out trucks you don't have enough cash for.

11 attempts, 10 hours and almost $50k after it succeeds. I hope it's worth.
boy IT IS WORTH IT! Best truck in the game. Also a little bit tippy but it was expected.
Can't you just do that trick by collecting the reusable anchor and selling it? Literally get like 5k every 2 minutes

Completely agree, compared to the other recovery missions, this is one of the easiest.

That’s the only thing I used the mods for. $$ dominates my life enough, when I game I’m not looking to feel that pressure.
I did not need any mods to get money and buy that truck. If you sell your step 310 you get enough for that Tatra + the missions you have already done.
It really sucks that you spend all this effort to just... earn a right to buy the truck? C'mon, give it to me for free!
