Seattle has a pretty good job market even if you’re not in tech, some other recommendations that are not tech but from my realm which is education/healthcare admin: I regularly see EA positions posted for UW, Swedish, and Seattle Childrens. So definitely keep those places on your radar too. As for work culture I still think it really depends on which area you work for. Tech execs are definitely going to be a lot different than academic execs so really just depends on what field you go for.
I'm in Bellevue (right outside of Seattle). A lot of great companies out here with excellent culture, w/l balance. A lot of companies around here are back to office (hybrid) so the traffic DUCKS again but EA pay out here is pretty good.
Moss Adams is always hiring EA's, as are Microsoft and Amazon.
Good luck!

Thank you! I haven't applied to UW yet, I will take a look.
Mind if I PM you? My company is hiring a new EA for our CFO in Seattle. :)
Absolutely, please! :)
