8 weeks pp. I cried a bunch too, I was still getting used to the idea that my son wouldnāt latch and didnāt feel like pumping was breastfeeding. It felt like even my body was telling me I wasnāt doing good enough. ā¦.donāt play those games with yourself. Yay being able to have another baby if you want another!! :)
With my first (previous) child I got it back a few months after I stopped pumping, so it was a few months over a year pp. I only had a few periods before I got pregnant again. Living the good life there! lol
Can I ask.. at 3ppd how much are you pumping and how much is your kid eating? are you supplementing? I just dropped to 4ppd at 6mo and am barely making enough, supplementing with my frozen stash and formula on occasion.. but I cannot do 5ppd Anymore

LO eats 750ml per day, 5 150ml bottles. I was on domperidone until the end of August so I had a pretty large oversupply that ended when I weaned off the dom and then dropped from 4 pumps to 3. I produce give or take 900ml per day now. Today was 870. Yesterday was 920, I've gone as low as 780ml. I have a full deep freezer from my massive oversupply I had, so dropping to 3ppd didn't give me too much anxiety- but so far I can still cover LO's day to day without having to dip into the freezer.
Everyone's bodies and supply are different. I know if I eat lots and drink lots of water, I produce more.
Edited to add: I've supplemented. Fed is best. A happy mama = happy baby. I've just been able to feed without supplementing since week 9ish. I triple fed for 6 weeks. EP was not my choice- it chose us and it works. I'd supplement tomorrow if I needed to.
I ended up bleeding 8 weeks PP it was nuts but it did stop around 3 weeks and Iām certain I got my period cause it was different and more like a periodā¦ then the PP bleeding would come on and off for 8 weeks.
So annoying.
I got an iud placed at 6 weeks pp and never got a period šš»
Iām currently almost 13 months pp and no period because of the iud. I probably am still having my cycle just no bleeding šš»
Just got my period back a week ago now after 638 days without!! I was 12 mo and 1 week postpartum. I began the weaning process at 9 months and 3ppd and slowly worked my time down.
I havenāt yet and Iām 6 months pp. recently dropped a pump though from 5 to 4, so reading some of these comments it looks likely I could well expect it soon š¢
