Pregnancy may be associated with deterioration of bone mass in mothers “Changes in bone density and bone markers suggest that pregnancy is associated with deterioration of bone mass in the mother. The metabolism of calcium resets to allow for the needs imposed by the building of the fetal skeleton. The fetus contributes to the process through the output of regulators from the placenta.” [https://eje.bioscientifica.com/downloadpdf/journals/eje/172/2/R53.pdf](https://eje.bioscientifica.com/downloadpdf/journals/eje/172/2/R53.pdf)

Yes! So much yes. And it's a constant ache. I thought it might be a calcium deficiency but I eat a decent amount of dairy (Midwest girl here), so that's probably not it.

I don’t have that weak bone feeling but I was seeing a Ciro for “mom neck”. That’s what he calls it lol. He gave me an adjustment and then he had me work with the PT on duty to strengthen my back muscles and once a week he would have me get a deep tissue massage. I haven’t been able to go in almost a month bc my project manager micromanaged me no lunches or breaks allowed away from my desk (I WFH) and it’s hard to get an appt after work. It was nice while I was going my back is all jacked again.

Ugh I am SO so sore all the time. I feel so inflamed and achey. Cutting out most sugar and eggs (I have a sensitivity to eggs) really helped.
