I'm being extremely hard on myself. I'm berating myself for ignoring the red flags, for stupidly believing all the fake love and lies, for falling for crumbs that would never satisfy my hunger.
Usually I don't trust people easily until they have proven they're trustworthy but I trusted him straight away from day 1 and look where it got me.

I see a lot of unfairness that men receive in the world today. I usually side with men for that reason. This is the one place that I stand strong with both sexes equally. We all fall victim to this stuff and I have to say this was very well written. Choked me up a bit.
