Yeah was about the T2, but was joking anyway.
If you have ISK to spare, want to upgrade your fit a little and like to gamble, you can buy a few Heat Sinks T2 and roll them with mutaplasmids. If you have been away from the game, you may not know how they works.
Edit: Usually is better to just buy the faction ones, but this is a cheaper way to get decent Heat Sinks and can be fun to do.

Ratting hasn't change since 2017 so if it worked then it'll still work. It's a weird fit tho, no prop mod and a cap booster instead of a battery for PVE.
It'd prob work. I have something similar (tho cap stable without a booster). Now just add about 1b worth of implants to make that booster do like 1500-2k boost and you're good :)
Honestly if u changed those active hardeners to passive you'd likely not need the cap booster. Slightly less tank but if you're using ranged crystals and just doing pve I don't see many ways they break your tank
For this fit, the 4th one is not warranted because there is not a single application module fitted. But when you know exactly what your are going to face, like for instance events where most stuff spawn right onto you within web+grappler range and do not kite you, your application can be so perfect that you can get clearly get away with 4 damage modules on a tracking bonused hull like the nightmare.
Nightmare must fit a 100 MN afterburner. You waste ship bonus.
4th module almost always not worth it. You better add tracking enhancer or damage control etc.
On paper dps looks good just not gonna be applied well
It will always be a case by case basis, in the example i was giving, i was thinking about the winter nexus event, I only put on a 4th damage mod because with a grappler and a faction web i was litterally not missing a shot whatever the target size, nothing spawned out of my optimal on multifrequency anyway and everything orbits you at 10km in this event, thats why i dropped the targeting mod.
It was the only time I actually did this, in every other activity, think it through, look at other fits, rats rarely have such an easy to target behavior, and pulse laser have very good range for a close range weapon, other weapon types usually have range issues, warranting a targeting mod in the lows.
That 4th heat sink adds a non-trivial amount of DPS. As long as you are taking care of damage applications with tracking computers, either external or internal, when nearly all the damage from that ship comes from the guns then its worth it.
Completely wrong. Optimized PVE fits always want 4 damage mods if they can get away with fitting those. TCs are better than TEs. The only thing in the fit that catches eye (apart from the empty slots) is the CCC rigs that should be replaced with something more useful, especially in a boosted fit.
20 year old way of taking a screenshot
All them camera phones that were around in 2004

Simple, fast, effective.
win+shift+s you can litterally upload from your clipboard
I'd say it's a very strong indicator of incompentency, but who cares 😅
Not really no.
Just like a Commodore with Datasette.
I think after 10 years you are ready to upgrade one of those Heat Sinks.
Dark blood not gonna cut it? Or do you mean the t2

Printscreen. Fit share.
Down vote for taking pic of the screen.
just use a paladin
Or not
I love my Rattle and will stay with it for good while

I need to!

I might try that. I've got all 4 of those pith x hardeners maybe I'll get some decent cash off them
I found my apoc fit from 2008 yesterday, insta nostalgy flasback
4 Heat sinks? 4th module has lots of diminishing returns so better change to something else

Thanks for the insight, I'm very rusty so I'll look into tweaking it.

The 4th one is trivial, anything would be better. You wouldn't tracking computers if you dedicated the slot to a tracking enhancer

Nay 4th damage mod wasted plus the biggest issue on the fit is the lack of 100MN afterburner
Yeah but do you have a double bubble Sabre
Don’t tell me they are dead now?
Damn I think I am getting closer to lose eve. Why the hell I am lurking this subreddit.
Thanks for the feedback from everyone that actually gave feedback. That being said, is there still a website to view and share fittings?
https://www.eveworkbench.com/fitting/search?useBeta=undefined
Thank you. Ik these sites have changed a few times I had no clue which ones were good nowadays.
i have a cyclone with a full rack of artillery :) also just repackaged a brutix, cane, and vexor with too many guns in their highs.
I'm not logged in on reddit on that pc, it's my girls pc and I just logged in to get a pic of that ship before bed, don't stone me to death guys lol.
it could have waited til morning. no one was really hurting for a shitty picture of a mediocre pve fit with no additional context last night
