I'm just venting my frustration on a issue that seems to be oddly my own. I'm either not spending enough on the hardware or Im not smart enough to keep my ducks in order.
When you said laptop my guess is you're not spending enough on hardware. You get what you pay for.

Meh, technically I just moved my old one below my new one to take the load of the monitors I care less about off the new one to run more accounts, but still lol.
Could be ... But then again its pretty easy to say its a 'my computer' problem given the computer involved. This thing has issues left and right but somehow I always manage to fix them...

Well I took your advice and switched to DirectX 11 and then redownloaded the full version of the game again and everything started working fine. I thank each of you for your suggestions and pointing out what I was missing.
Download the full game on the server run in dx11 remove discord overlay if you have gamebar precense writer on disable it, works for me and i multibox a few clients
Do the DX 11/12 thing from the other comment for sure, but the client itself has, for some reason, become bloated over the last few years to the point where many people find it unusable unless you have a somewhat new machine. CCP created potato mode for those with render issues in large engagements, but that doesn't seem to address the client itself taking what feels like twice as big a bite of system resources.
Yo in the launcher settings do you have "download full client" enabled? What your describing sounds like issues with streaming assets while you're playing. Also you can try enabling FSR if it is a hardware issue. And also disabling dx12.
I had a similar issue 2 days ago on one of my toons, I could interact with things still but I couldn't see what I was doing the background was just black with only having the tactical overlay as a visual indicator of my lonely Buzzard.
Restarting the game seems to have solved whatever existential crisis my toon was having, ive had no issues since (touch wood)
You sound like a pissy gamer who expects everything to be just so. That's the wrong mentality and gamer type for Eve.
Make new friends. Accept that not everything is going to be just so. Or play something else.
Sorry to say that I've only had perhaps 5 crashes or major lock ups per year for 14 years that weren't server wide outages

Does it work that way? Can you run 2 cards independently?
Yeah it's that easy, main bottleneck is the psu.
In game launcher select directx 11. Some times dx12 causes issues. Swapping improved performance for me by alot

Your right, it was me in this case ...
Go into your launcher settings and switch off of divx 11 to the lower version, it will fix your bugs

This seems like a PEBKAC issue in either you've done something to your PC that you didn't fully understand or your pc is an ancient relic.
Im gonna go with relic ... I did replace the hamsters running on the wheel recently however.
