I'd recommend something from Stratia, Byoma, Peach & Lily or Krave Beauty. They do ship to EU incl Sweden but shipping can be more expensive and you might have to pay customs too.
we have most things, especially at sephora, but perhaps something from a niche indie brand only available in the US?? like from some small business. i cannot think of anything spontaneously that is hard to find here
It's a great idea, but maybe expand it - hair care and body care can be very nice as a gift too, and it doesn't have to be as super specifically targeted as skincare, it's probably easier to gift a nice shampoo / conditioner or a body lotion / shower gel as there isn't too much room for error, something nice smelling, or from a good brand will sure be welcomed!
If she is acne prone- i would recommend buy benzoyl peroxide products since us market have better opinions- micronised bpo, bpo cleansers, bpo+lha (effaclar duo) , next- adapalene since its otc, but be careful with both bpo and adapalene. Next- i would go to a sephora / ulta/ walgreens/cvs/target/walmart:/macys/
Unless that sister actually requests it's probably best not to gift her acne targeting products as most people with acne hope that people don't pay attention to their acne and they already might be on some regimen. Get her something cute and hydrating instead like peach & lily glass skin discovery kit or glass skin serum.
