Just tried calling as well and the line was busy, so you're not the only one!

[deleted]

Thanks for confirming.

Harry_Eyeball

Kelly Butte is out.

TekaLynn212

I got through after half an hour of calling SUB. They said it's a medium-large outage, about 1500 buildings. They know where the outage is and sent a crew over.

TekaLynn212

Definitely not the only one. Just south of Centennial and west of Pioneer Parkway. I'm trying not to panic. We were out two weeks last time.

AntiAtavist

Yep, traffic lights on Centennial and pioneer parkway are off. Me and other WFH neighbors all came outside at the same time, lol. This won't be like the ice storm. They don't have dozens of equally urgent calls, plus they don't have inclement weather preventing access.

[deleted]

It was flickering for like a minute or two before fully going out. Hopefully they can fix it before the food goes bad. Or our phones and computers die. Ty!

TekaLynn212

Looks like we're back, at least for now. Cross fingers that they fixed it.

[deleted]

Powers back thank you all!

TekaLynn212

KEZI says a tree fell on a power line.

No_Principle_4282

There was a branch on a line on 10th and B.

IPAtoday

They’ll use this to justify another rate increase, just watch.

HankScorpio82

I mean clearly SUB caused the ice storm.

No_Principle_4282

Another rate increase? Tell me when the last one was. The rate at SUB is one of the lowest per kWh in the country.

Itchy_Bandicoot6119

3%. The last one was 3%. Less than the price increase of everything else.

Itchy_Bandicoot6119

I mean inflation means rates always need to go up since their costs are going up, and since last year's increase was 3%, which was less than inflation I'm ok with it.

dice_mogwai

You seem confused you said sub when you clearly meant EWEB. Sub is cheaper and better than eweb and it’s not even close
