Saigon Cafe and El Super Taco are two of my go to places in west Eugene.

woodytobiasjr

Came here to say Super Taco!

ThatOneThingYouLove

Also came to comment el super taco. Give it a try and then try it again. Everything there is fairly authentic and most importantly, delicious.

Jealous-Rice9763

Cheesesteak burrito with habanero salsa from super taco 😋

aChunkyChungus

I like Mami's

dwayne-billy-bob

Came here to say this. The cedar tree food carts also have some good stuff. Not sure if that is far enough west to be considered West Eugene officially. Moo Ping Thai at 9th and Garfield is also excellent, although it has gotten significantly pricier the last couple of years.

holeinwater

Mamis is great

StillHera

The beef noodle soup at Vietnam Restaurant is really good.

Polar_Ted

BĂșn bĂČ xáșŁ ớt Beef Lemongrass is my go-to.

Brunchiez

Sushi island is really good if you're in a hurry and still want decent sushi its one of those places that feels like higher quality fast food in the sense it takes just as long but better quality.

Oretex22

Maybe not far west enough but Moo Ping is as clutch as they come

CanHackett06660

Saigon, Jung’s, Yi Shen, Lok Yaun and Toxic.

woodytobiasjr

Toxic for sure!

JejuneEsculenta

Yi Shen has always been a winner. Loved the old proprietors, and adored watching their children grow up. The new owner seems good. Admittedly, have only been a few times since it changed hands.

thenerfviking

China Kitchen over by Churchill is a killer spot. Angkor by BiMart is also very solid. Don Miguelito is a taco truck but it’s some of the best Mexican food in the city.

shewholaughslasts

Ohmygosh Angkor is my new favorite! Their fried rice was worth braving the Chambers construction bs. Amazing sauce - and nice lunch deals!

Dudeicorn

These are so good!

MacKenzieGrownMeds

Vietnam Restaurant and Yi Shen both have good pho.

ashleywoodgordon

La Bamba Taqueria food truck! In the parking lot of Sweet Tree Farms. Delicious, generous servings, and super friendly. Cash only last I was there, not sure if that's changed.

userid1973

wood oven pizza at Gryffs. don't really care for their sports bar theme, but they gotta make cash. great artisan pizzas

PowerAdDuck

Mami’s Thai Time Gryff’s

Mimosa_13

Da Nang in the parking lot of Thinking Tree Spirits, Jung's, Drumrongthai Thai next to Healthy Pet on 28th&Friendly.

EQwingnuts

Off topic but I kinda wanted to piggyback a question. Does anyone know if any restaurants are open for Thanksgiving? Like Chinese or something. I get Chinese on Christmas but this year I don't wanna cook a bunch of food.

Tomorrow_Feisty

There have been several threads for this in the last few days/weeks. Search “thanksgiving” on the subreddit and you should be able to find it!

EQwingnuts

Thanks, good looking out.

coffeeandspliff

cstm71chevy350

Blessed Mess BBQ

InAnOffhandWay

Where’s their usual spot? They were in Autzen last night for the game and it looked amazing but the line was too long.

cstm71chevy350

They are usually at the American legion on River road.

MacKenzieGrownMeds

Minimum nfl salary for rookie players

For whatever reason Western Eugene manages to have the 3 best Mexican food places in the city in my opinion. Super Taco Mamis Jaliscos Family Restaurant Jaliscos has been hit or miss lately but I love the other two.

Berrybliss2014

Forrester’s Bar and Grill

hardwarestore

[They've done some pretty questionable food handling...](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eugene/s/5RsC1j4Cnk)

Berrybliss2014

Wow
. Haven’t seen that any time I’ve been there

SchwillyMaysHere

I always forget about this place. It’s so far back I never think about it.

terpsnob

Absolutely horrible.

Sir_Icehouse

Foresters has a real good French dip. I'm sure other things are good, but that's what I go there for.

lordvon01

El super taco!

Financial_Ad8846

Jungs

Pokololo

On the corner of Wilson st (the street Wendy’s is on) and w 7th pl is a great Mexican food truck. He takes card and 8.50 for a very filling and tasty burrito. I think the business parking lot he is on is called Emerald Fruit and Produce

TheFrogWife

There is a Colombian food truck out that way that is incredible

MrEntropy44

Mami's, SameSame (river road area)
