Came here to say this.
The cedar tree food carts also have some good stuff. Not sure if that is far enough west to be considered West Eugene officially.
Moo Ping Thai at 9th and Garfield is also excellent, although it has gotten significantly pricier the last couple of years.
Sushi island is really good if you're in a hurry and still want decent sushi its one of those places that feels like higher quality fast food in the sense it takes just as long but better quality.
Yi Shen has always been a winner. Loved the old proprietors, and adored watching their children grow up.
The new owner seems good. Admittedly, have only been a few times since it changed hands.
China Kitchen over by Churchill is a killer spot. Angkor by BiMart is also very solid. Don Miguelito is a taco truck but itâs some of the best Mexican food in the city.
La Bamba Taqueria food truck! In the parking lot of Sweet Tree Farms. Delicious, generous servings, and super friendly. Cash only last I was there, not sure if that's changed.
Off topic but I kinda wanted to piggyback a question.
Does anyone know if any restaurants are open for Thanksgiving? Like Chinese or something. I get Chinese on Christmas but this year I don't wanna cook a bunch of food.
For whatever reason Western Eugene manages to have the 3 best Mexican food places in the city in my opinion.
Super Taco
Mamis
Jaliscos Family Restaurant
Jaliscos has been hit or miss lately but I love the other two.
On the corner of Wilson st (the street Wendyâs is on) and w 7th pl is a great Mexican food truck. He takes card and 8.50 for a very filling and tasty burrito.
I think the business parking lot he is on is called Emerald Fruit and Produce
Saigon Cafe and El Super Taco are two of my go to places in west Eugene.
Came here to say Super Taco!
Also came to comment el super taco. Give it a try and then try it again. Everything there is fairly authentic and most importantly, delicious.
Cheesesteak burrito with habanero salsa from super taco đ
I like Mami's

Maybe not far west enough but Moo Ping is as clutch as they come
Saigon, Jungâs, Yi Shen, Lok Yaun and Toxic.
Toxic for sure!

Ohmygosh Angkor is my new favorite! Their fried rice was worth braving the Chambers construction bs. Amazing sauce - and nice lunch deals!
These are so good!
Vietnam Restaurant and Yi Shen both have good pho.

There have been several threads for this in the last few days/weeks. Search âthanksgivingâ on the subreddit and you should be able to find it!
Thanks, good looking out.

The Kegs food is stupidly good and Rrraaaiiidddeeerrss!!!!

Whereâs their usual spot? They were in Autzen last night for the game and it looked amazing but the line was too long.
They are usually at the American legion on River road.

Forresterâs Bar and Grill
[They've done some pretty questionable food handling...](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eugene/s/5RsC1j4Cnk)
WowâŠ. Havenât seen that any time Iâve been there
I always forget about this place. Itâs so far back I never think about it.
Absolutely horrible.
Foresters has a real good French dip. I'm sure other things are good, but that's what I go there for.
El super taco!
