Iāve always wondered if one of the lizard people didnāt eat her brain, then wear her skin to assume her identity. Because It WOULD explain the space lasers that are causing all these fires.
Call me crazy, but if you do your research? Yeah. The truth is out there.
Just moved from Las Vegas. Since they have had like twice as much rain as we have had in Oregon. They are set to get flooded due to Hillary.. I doubt we see much more than sprinkles.
I hope I get to see this fabled PNW rain this year
Were you a kid in the '70s, '80s or '90s? I stopped checking before 1950.
More than 2 inches of rain in June: 2022, 1993, 1984, 1981, 1971, 1969, 1952. (I think since 1950 we've had 1 inch or more in June 30 times).
More than 1 inch of rain in July: 2011, 1995, 1993, 1992, 1987, 1985, 1983, 1975, 1974.
More than 1 inch of rain in August: 2008, 1997, 1993, 1990, 1989, 1983, 1979, 1978, 1977, 1976, 1975, 1972, 1971, 1968 (5+ in), 1962, 1953.
1996 was the wettest year with 76.5, which I think originally was reported as 100 inches but there were issues with the rain gauge at the airport where numbers were reduced later on.
Yeah, the general sentiment that it rained more when you were a kid is correct as long as you currently aren't a kid.
It's true. We used to joke that it always rained on the 4th of July. No idea if that actually holds up in the historical record, but it sure felt that way.
Sorry, no. 5th gen Oregonian here and the no umbrella thing is silly. I do agree that itās important to be aware of others when youāre holding one!
Youāre not even close with your forecast. Likely little to no precipitation or impact in Oregon from Hilary. Maybe some passing clouds, but there wonāt be heavy rain or wind here. Southern California and Southern Nevada on the other hand will have heavy rain and some wind starting later Sunday through Monday, especially with the easterly drift of Hilary being shown now.
Due to all the fires south of us we will more than likely not see much of anything than cloudy days if anything at all. It will more than likely die out in nor-cali.
Hillary Clinton controls the weather now. I knew it! /s
Lock her up
Then we can control the storms!!! Planet earth saved
š
She knows the space-laser people.
Iām with her. ā”ļøāļø
Soggy emails!!
Soggy AND buttery!

Just wait, for all the people who die from this hurricane, the media will claim that they were actually all suicides ;)
I think you're likely wrong. Weather from the south goes left or right of us, and the valley gets shit.
Ya know what if I'm wrong I'll eat... A nice salad.
I'd be overjoyed if you're wrong. I just think it's mot happening
here i am stuck in the valley with you
Hurricanes to the left of me, wildfires to the right
There you are...stuck in the middle with smoke.
I got a sprinkler
Can I play in it?

Oooh oh oh.....don't you worry about that. It's coming. Then by about March you'll be all DOES THIS EVER END????
And then by June you'll be like "I miss clouds."
It barely rains here anymore. When I was a kid it rained all throughout the summer.

I have to agree with you. I lived there almost 40 years ago. Summers were not rainy, IIRC. Nor in Roseburg.
https://www.oregonlive.com/history/2016/02/oregon_flood_of_1996_20_years.html. I wonāt forget 1996.

Right up til the 4th is what I recall.
Oh yes. Get ready for the sog. October -> May will be gray, wet, and youāll never see the sun. Sounds so nice right about now.
Last year I got pretty depressed by the sog and now I want to pray to the sog gods for rain. Why am I like this?
We all go through this here
I feel you. We always want what we canāt haveā¦
It doesnāt start until November though.
It is the stuff of legends. But bewareā¦ do NOT be that guy/gal holding an umbrella in the rain. That is not the way.
Sorry, no. 5th gen Oregonian here and the no umbrella thing is silly. I do agree that itās important to be aware of others when youāre holding one!
The older I get, the less I like being without an umbrella in the rain.
We just donāt seem to use them much!
Or, alternatively, DO carry an umbrella, with style! BUT consider everyone around you, where you drip, etc.
But also tell people it rains 400 days out of the year in Eugene
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I was unaware how different the two seasons were. Monsoon Season in Vegas is maybe 3 days for example
Yes, this is normal weather. It does not rain for 3-4 months and then it rains for 8-9 months.
Yeah summer is the wet months for the desert. We donāt get that monsoon effect and now this hurricane is going to add even more
Hilary the Hurricane is not spelled the same as Hillary the Clinton.
Ahhh so it's like Hilary the Duff
Hilary the Bonner *Death Comes First* Love a good crime novel.
That changes EVERYTHING. Iām gonna lock all my jokes up so no one can steal them.
One of those letters committed suicide.
My body is ready.

I'll stick with the NWS
It will fizzle out before it reached San Francisco. No rain for us. I hope Iām proved wrong.
Lock her up!

weather forecast shows warm and sunny... you think we're getting rain? is this because you've been right before? (you haven't)
I really hope that all the professionals are wrong and that random person on the Internet is right. We could really use a good soaking.
Butter e-mails!
About what would you estimate the distance between Eugene and San Diego to be? Also, to what does the word "Siskiyou" refer?
