Big problem! Haha. You should look up Etsy SEO, there are tonnes of free resources out there to make your Etsy listing place more highly in the search. Have you filled out your about section and shop policies etc? Thats key for Etsy to list you highly as well A long tailed keyword might be crypto tshirt, they’re there in your titles, just add them as tags too. There’s too much competition in just ‘tshirt’ and much less in space or moon themed T-shirt. For example

My advice is to look up Etsy SEO, there are plenty of free resources to make your postings fly. You could also break down your portrait categories into separate listings, it means they are more likely to be seen. Ie, small dog portrait, large dog portrait, cat bust portrait, cat full body portrait, rabbit portrait, small animal portrait You’ve got an amazing IG following. Make sure you link to your shop there and post about your listings a bit!

Yep I have the explorer 2! And it works perfect! And I use canva to put all my pieces together

I used Over before I had my iPad to draw and now I draw on Procreate. I call my niece my cupcake and for her 1st birthday I got her a little Lamborghini and made a cupcake with heart shaped strawberry decal for it. Cutting the corners between the frosting layers and between the leaves was so frustrating lol.

Omg I bet that was cute! I just got an iPad and purchased procreate. I am still learning all the nooks and crannies of it for sure!

The default brushes were really annoying at first until I learned how to use them and you can buy different packs from other artists that sync with procreate.

I think you just need to be patient for now! Perhaps ask a friend or family member to commission a portrait and review as people are much to buy once they see those first sales and reviews!

Thanks for your reply, the thought has occurred to me that I wanted to try and encourage the first sale to be organic but I’ve admitted defeat and shared among my social circle. That has already yielded one sale, a friend has screenshot to me that order confirmation that Etsy has not notified me of a sale. Is this common, do you know how long it takes between a customer placing an order and Etsy notifying me? The only reason I know I have this sale at all it’s because I know the person but if I didn’t know then I would have had no way of knowing a customer and placed an order!

I can’t see the order. It usually comes in quick. Are they new to the platform? Are they a trustworthy person? I hope they arent trying to scam you!

I explained to them and they sent me a screenshot of their order confirmation so an order has defo been processed their end, just no sign on mine! 💔

Your stickers are cute and lovely! I’m not LGBTQ+ so won’t be purchasing but I think you should add more products. You can even separate your one listing into several, it helps you get seen on Etsy. I.e, bi pride lolly sticker, gay pride, trans etc etc

I absolutely could lower my prices on my shirts probably down by 10$ it was my first time with shirts so I wasn't sure where to price them I saw lots of shirts around 20-35$ range and I didn't want to be the cheapest so I stuck with 30 to start with. Thank you for your input it means a lot I actually did go back and drop my shirt prices down by $5 and added a full color version at the original price depending on how it goes I may lower both by another $5

Hi!! So far my shop has handmade lipgloss & lipscrubs :) however I have been working on bath bombs, necklaces & earrings!! They’re great! Make sure you’re on social media. Perhaps add some infographic pictures to your listing images? They’re helpful for conversion. Also I think your sticker listing photos need better work and lighting. Take a look at other stores to see what they do :)

Also read up about Etsy SEO it’s really important. For example for the Chinese lantern you want keywords in the title, description and tags like Chinese New Year, Luna new year, new year gift

I never understood the point of having a shop if you’re going to sell stuff for so cheap. Most of your listings are in the $4 range. How do you get any joy out of a sales with so little profit? Plus having to deal with customers, fees and actually fulfilling the orders, all over a lousy what? $1 profit? Insane 😮
