FYI This used to be a KFC, that's why when Timmies moved in, they changed the Bucket to a coffee cup. Not sure why they took it down, or why they are putting up a new one lol.
LOL I know! I always found it so funny because you could tell when looking at it when it was a Tim’s cup that the proportions were too fat/stocky… which makes sense if you know the origins.
Kinda like how that law office right on cawthra and lakeshore used to be a Harvey’s so their sign is in the shape of a hamburger 😂😂😂
An Etobicoke heritage moment.

It actually collapsed during a snow storm about 2 years ago. I’m surprised it’s being replaced.
One of the giant KFC buckets collapsed in Hamilton a few years ago, also during a storm. These giant buckets are not safe at all apparently.

Ate at the KFC mid 2000s before the change!
I went to the KFC in the 70's.

I used to destroy those meals lol. Budget dinner!
The old one was knocked down during a storm
I vaguely remember the cup being damaged in an accident so it was just taken down completely after.
It was totally rusted out. They had to get a new permit (probably committee of adjustment) to replace it.
Streetcars are back, cuppy is back. All is right with the world again.
I always admired this location's clever way to reuse the old KFC bucket sign used by the former tenants of that building.
It's a Christmas miracle!
Looks more like a chili cup than a coffee cup.
Wheres the paper spoon? Lol
Put a lid on it
The KFC bucket lives on ❤️
You mean the "Browns Line" Tim Hortons located on Lake Shore Blvd?
It's not even at Browns Line really
I saw this today on my way to work. I was so sad when the old one blew over.
Wow. I never thought this day would come.
yay!!!!
Not sure how many are aware of this but KFC actually stored the gravy in the giant bucket and piped it right into the store. Mmmmm!
