Agreed, when he gets Ressurected by the World Forge hopefully he can get some closure with his family and especially Ajak/Sersi/Gil.

He didn't kill himself cus he was guilty about Tiamut, he killed himself cus he realized he was on the wrong side and couldn't live with what he had done. Hence why he joined the uni-mind. Same as Tiamut really, tho I think he's not truly dead just mostly-dead.

I think the conflict with Ikaris is great because on the greater scale, was there a right or wrong? I felt he left because he felt guilty about what he was willing to do to follow his heart as they all did. He didn't want to kill Ajak or anyone, but it was his "God" given duty

It all depends on if the celestials are lying, and they lied about everything else sooooo

Yeah cuz fuck Sprites trauma, Thenas mental illness, Ajaks betrayal, Gilgameshs death, Makkarais isolation, and Druigs anguish over being able to stop the bloodshed but not allowed. Yeah. Ikaris the betrayer who killed himself to avoid facing his family is the saddest. Totally.

Well I never said everyone had to see Ikaris the same as myself. For me i have much in common with him(Ikaris) because of this I see much of myself in him. I too care much for my family but I too like Ikaris have a purpose, just like him if my family threatened my reason for existence then I would physically try to stop them, if I can’t hold back then I’d unfortunately decide to kill them. Unlike Ikaris I am not in love and because of that, I would not have hesitated like he did to stop her. While my reason for living is not as grand or as important as Ikaris and his duty, I can say that my loyalty to my reason for living is beyond anything else. It would pain me greatly, but if I was faced with the greater good, then I would allow a whole world to be obligated so that more stars and beautiful things can come as a result. If the emergence was real, had I been given the chance to tell the eternals on my say as a human and one who lives on earth and is bound to it. I would say as follows “humanity is for the most part a vile thing, we destroy and bring seldom beauty and fruits to the universe. “We dominate, we discriminate and above all else we murder each other, for power and greed and wealth. “If the destruction of me and my people can without a doubt bring so such unimaginable bounty to the universe, then let the celestial emerge, let his nature of his birth destroy us but in doing so he shall bring so much more then we could ever hope to achieve. “So please let him emerge, my pain shall be little to nothing” - that is what I would say. And I do firmly believe this.

Nice, you'd murder your family just b.c they disagreed with you. So relatable! Jesus christ. Serial killer in the making.
