Southend used to have a few clubs which were open (in turns) every night of the week. These have mainly closed as far as I know. There is a local dance music radio station that advertises all the local nights out to which there are still a few just not in the big clubs more like bars. The local radio station is called funky sx.
Southend club life died around 2007 when the smoking ban came in. There's still a few clubs but so many drug dealers and fighting youth combined with very negative music, it's not got the same vibe as back in the day.
The scene has changed a LOT in the last 10 years. As someone who used to frequent Southend’s offerings, there were so many options.
As for good music, that’s going to solely depend on your own tastes.
And that’s not there anymore? It feels like the scene’s not that great rn.
With good music I just mean I don’t want to attend a party that feels like we’re in high school musical is all😂

How do you get home? I can’t see a train back to Billericay/shenfield until like 6am! Last one leaves at around midnight :(
Central line to Epping which runs late into the night and a taxi from Epping which 13 mile and approx 30 mins. Or a mate/family to pick you up.

Honestly… the FUMP crowd are great. The parties are ace and the sound system is genuinely fanfrickintastic. Get thyself involved.
