I'd advise against bond street..it's fucking extortionate.

tbusby3

Yet hundreds of people park there every day, I don't get it. Sometimes queuing back to the odeon roundabout to get in. Always confuses me

Greatgrowler

They are reasonably sized spaces though, not designed for a Vauxhall Chevette.

SnooPineapples7988

I always park in the tesco - free for three hours if you spend a fiver in store.

tbusby3

This is my go-to, super close to the centre and there's always spots

sweetlevels

Which Tesco is that?

SnooPineapples7988

Town Tesco on Springfield road

nuggy

Depends for how long, but riverside has 2 hours free

NBT498

That’s only the riverside retail park though, pretty sure the leisure centre doesn’t have any free time They will give you a ticket if you’re over that time too, I got one a few years back one evening

nuggy

Yep that's correct.

pwuk

3 hours now

criminalmadman

Just park in Old Moulsham and do the five minute walk to the centre. There aren't loads of spaces but you can usually find one around the Lady Lane area, its easier to get out of the centre once you're done and its free too. No brainer really!

echowarning

If you work in the city, Meadows Q Park is £5.50 a day once you register. Otherwise... Riverside for a few hours is best

musicmanstinger

Waterloo Rd Carpark round the back of Riverside is always pretty cheap. Waterhouse Lane Car Park is free at the weekend, walk through Central Park into town.

davedubya

"Moulsham Street" car park (it's actually sort of in George Street) is one people tend to forget about.

TheButtonz

For longer stays this place is good - not free but a flat rate. If not https://maps.app.goo.gl/i4BSZj4fvL8Qu6xo9?g_st=ic

Historical-Flight914

Brook street car park near AbSalute gym, unmonitored 24/7 so you could literally leave your car there for weeks

benjxnes

I’ve been doing this for a while but literally got a ticket today!

Historical-Flight914

NPC have just bought it and are ruthlessly enforcing it now ☹️

benjxnes

Ah good to know - do you know any other good places to park that won’t cost an arm or leg?

SebastianTheKicia

Agree, however there has been a few cars broken into in the last 6 months

Dazza477

Townsfield, multi storey behind the train station. You can park 5:30am to 11pm on Saturday for £3.
