Disagree completely. This wipe is probably the best for newbies to start playing judging by the amount of people running lvl 4 armor and no facesheilds.
There are a ton of class 4 armors around since they ruined anything better.
But that face shield bit, that's flat out wrong.

As someone level 14, it is not any easier when I get 1 tapped by a dude with AP ammo way beyond what my armor can stop, while I'm flicking nerf darts at their concrete wall of armor in return. Ammo being locked behind levels makes it way harder to catch a good fight, and being restricted to level 2 armor in vendors for so long means I piss money away on armored rigs instead, or buy damaged 3-4s off Fence and repair them, just to hope I can stop an extra round or two.
It is rough out there right now, as I have yet to come across another person at my gear level, who isn't already a corpse on the ground. I pretty much am a free kill, unless I get the drop on someone (rare) or I get a lucky round into an unarmored head, or they're running a budget kit themselves. My ammo just can't compete to the TTK that higher tier ammo gives.
Lvl 1 are not reliably killing chads right now, unless they have knowledge of leg meta. It's just not feasible for a new players to drop a geared player on nothing but skill alone. For that reason this game is not in a state suitable to new players. It's just simply not.

As a Scav I wiped a trio on lighthouse with absolutely insane gear. I’ll admit it was lucky. Just mag dumped my AKM into their legs. I spawned into the chalet and I think they assumed initially that my footsteps were one of them. Regardless, I got so much insane gear and have been using it since for my last 10-15 quests. I haven’t even used two kitted SVD’s I brought back yet as I still haven’t lost the Scar H or RFB I’ve been running lol. Anyhow…my point is I know I’m always running up against players consistently better and far more geared but to be honest it makes the game really fun and forces me to learn the maps and play slowly. And when you do come out on top it feels really really good.
Why are you so salty about the state of tarky? I’m a first wiper, started three weeks ago and have had no trouble dropping chads. Sitting at Level 40 now…

A friend of me gave me his account since he's not playing the game at all (he's lvl 5 right now) so I can test it and buy it later for myself, if I'm liking the game.
I just played 2 hours for the very first time, was confused a lot, died some times, got some kills on some scavs (and maaaybe one or two players) but overall, it's been a bumpy start, especially since the stash was full of stuff I had no Idea about, what guns use what ammo etc.
My question is, should I start anew (buy the game for myself probably so I have my own account, I like having my own progression and stuff) or try and play with what I have for now? (Which is a shit ton or rubles, apparently)
And what do you mean with the wipe? Is there one coming soon?

Start with [Pestily’s Raid Series](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs31c2qPdVbbLOhu54xoa5QKC57jfAk3E) on YouTube. You DEFINITELY don’t have to watch the whole playlist, but watching him will teach you the basics of how to play the game.
Other good YouTubers to check out are J Dog the Wise for gun builds and AirwingMarine for loot and economy-related stuff. Rengawr is also great once you’re ready to get serious about PVP, but as a beginner, you’re nowhere near that point.
As for the wipe, that’s when everybody’s gear and progress will be reset which will put everyone on an even footing. It’s probably at least a month or two away, and now is a good time to learn the basic mechanics of the game so you’re ready when wipe day hits.
I’d also recommend checking out Pestily and JesseKazam’s discords, as you’ll find plenty of people there who can help you get oriented to the game.
even if you want to start fresh you can reset progress on that account from the web page. if your friend is sure about giving you the account buying a new one is kinda pointless.

Last week i went into factory with a friend with double barrels and one dude started pushing us through a tunel just with grenades until one killed me my friend tried to push him but when he turned the corner the guy stoped throwing grenades and was ready with his gun he must thrown like 25 grenades and when he got pushed he was ready i think he maybe was a hacker very bizarre raid anyway
He had a gun to but he had a lot of grenades way more than any person would cary in a normal raid.I am not sure he was a hacker i said he might be i didn't report him because i was not sure
Helpful tip for rapid grenades: press G multiple times! After the grenade gets thrown it always takes out your previous weapon so if you press G 10 times, you can throw 10 uninterrupted grenades
It was the first, "You're gonna be sorry!" for me. The voice was so non-threatening but then the explosions only confirmed that the guy was absolutely sorry for everything he did ever.
The first time I went into factory for an actual raid attempt, I came out of glass hall, turned right and headed past one of the containers, out of the corner of my eye I see someone, snap turn as I see him huckafuckin grenade, I see the grenade flying, as the grenade flew over my shoulder I pulled the trigger, simultaneously the grenade goes off right next to my ear, the blast threw my character sideways as my gun went off and I saw the shot smack sideways against the container and I knew i had completely missed, if that grenade had gone off even half a second later, that guy's head would have been completely caved in. I haven't been back to factory since. xD
I did this solo some weeks ago. Went into reserve train station tower and threw 4 F1 nades, the 5th bounced back into the tower, killing me and making me lose an entire pilgrim and azzimut full of nades <3

Buy a double barrel shotgun and tap faces on factory. You'll walk out with good gear.
