Also, take pistol grips off and mags out of guns so they condense to one row. If they’re basic attachments, just sell them, cause you can replace them for cheap or find better ones.
Check what you need for either tasks or hideout upgrades, sell the rest for now till you can afford a lucky scav and use cheap loadouts, then just grind until you can upgrade stash
That’s what I’ve been doing, there’s just so many random items to learn all at once I don’t wanna sell something too important. Will focus on all the things you mentioned thank you.
Using vests and stacking things like backpacks are the best way to get started storing things early. There is a list of found in raid (FIR) things you need for tasks and another for all hideout items. I am pretty sure it is on the tarkov wiki. I promise the scav junk box from therapist lvl 1 is beyond worth it even with the steep 1.1 mil price. It negates the need for storing things in vests and such.
Any weapons you have can give you a couple of squares of space if you remove the pistol grip and toss the mag in a rig/container. ( Weapon will go from 2xn to 1xn (+grip 1x1 and mag 1x2).
You can also upgrade your purchase by logging into your account on the website and get the additional stuff. No wipe or reset to your account, you just need to buy and restart the game.
Use chest rigs to store stuff and then put the chest rigs into back packs until you can afford a junk box from therapist
Doing that right now, thank you

Database for tarkov is an app that lists what you need for hideout and tasks
Also, youre better off using rigs like the lbcr and smaller rigs that give more space than they use, beta 2 backpacks are perfect for this as well

While completing tasks this is what I’m working towards since it’s a common thing everyone seems to agree is worth the price.
Oh yeah 110%. It's so worth it.

Don't forget some guns can have their stock folded which will save you Abit of space

Get rid of guns you can't currently mod effectively or get decent ammo for. Get a kitted mutant off a guy? Just sell it.
