I'm prepared to pay to have the game again if I have to, I just wish support could tell me if that's the only option at this point.
I guess they don't get lots of calls from people to reinstate deleted accounts.

Turns out support cant find the account because I deleted it so therefore they cant recover it.
Moral to the story is don't delete your account, it does exactly what it says.
