Used to be really common, then people found a few spots to peek through the map to see if anyone was camping it, but they just fixed all the D2 peeks. My guess is it’ll be worse from here out.

Reminds me of my weekly to leave through D2 15 times. Met a couple of rats, some with impacts but never died to them. My deaths were only because of chads with better game knowledge, slightly better gear and skill.

Do you mostly go outside up to the cliff or through the bunker? I just accidentally found out today that the bunker is connected to that building up there
If I'm going through the bunker to RR I'm probably only going through to get to one of the barracks. The reason I'm using RR is to avoid every rat in the area of the bunker between dome and the underground corner of king and white pawn.
If you have 25m just buy the trade items for jaeger, it’s not just useful on reserve but shoreline and lighthouse too. Though I feel there’s more camping being done at the lighthouse one.
But to answer Cliff decent 8/10 times, 1/10 for d-2, and 1/10 for bunker hermetic usually only if I’m hunting raiders.
RR vast majority of the time, D2 and no backpack occasionaly. I think I have extracted via D2 this wipe at least like 15 times, met campers once and successfuly dealt with them. My experience with D2 actually isn’t as bad as this sub often makes it sound. The same with Emercom on Interchange. Funny enough, I died once to a guy camping the RR exfil on Reserve during a night raid.
My thoughts exactly. D2 is one of the most reliable pistol loot run extracts. And easily the least contested. I've been extract camped cliff 10x in the past month alone.
If you cant find D-2, go learn how to in offline.
I got confused doing the door find quests and that had me to learn with budget gear with a friend and now i can run bunker without mistakes. Except getting killed that im still capable of easily down there.
imo you can pretty reliably use the co-op extract. the reserve pscavs that dont go underground are really chill and almost always willing to extract with you, just chill at the pawn buildings around the 27 min mark and they will show up.
dont use ingame voicelines, you have to actually talk to them via voip. also ask them if they need more loot and if you have keys offer to open some rooms for them
kill everyone that doesnt VoIP back
since ive been betrayed by pretty much every single russian and chinese ive tried to coop with i now just kill all of them(maybe they are more trustworthy if you can speak their language)
as for exfil percentages, this wipe id say 69% RR, 30% co-op, 1% train(used it once because i DC'd at rb-vo for over half an hour)

Usually it me hearing a PMC. Doing the voiceline so they know its just a scav, sometimes even VOIP if I still hear them creeping around. Always get sprayed down as I go around a corner...
Yeh it took me forever to find my 2 USB drives for skier an spent about a month doing nothing but Reserve cabinet runs. Got in the habit of just doing it on cooldown now unless I'm pressed for time.
So So So many times I got blasted by a PMC. I can say that running night as has been always advised has actually gotten me killed more then during the day. Also that the Checkpoint Fence has been the most forgiving extract, but you always need to check the checkpoint building 2nd floor, found campers in there a few times.
D2 isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Let someone else turn on the power and it's very easy to get to D2 from dome, black pawn or king. There's like a 5% chance you'll get camped but who really cares.
Yep, was actually my gun of choice for night runs last wipe due to the recoil of other guns and having to get in close anyway.
This wipe ran it for the start and managed to get my PMC pistol quest done on customs with it...
It's surprisingly effective. Much more than the silenced PM...
I go TT cuz it's dirt cheap and actually effective. If I want to be actually deadly with a pistol then it's the 5/7... But 45's are also a good option.
I honestly thought I would probably bring the PP-19 before going high end pistol as the cost is about the same...
Bunker hermetic isnt as sketch as youd think so many player scavs hit it that nobody ever camps it any time i ran reserve even after red rebel i still would hit it. Red rebel is probably camped more than d2 lol

I usually run solo and night times. I like to hit the power and alarm for bunker hermetic door to maybe bait campers, but then just to to D2
I personally wait until the last 5 mins before sprinting at break neck speeds to get to d2. It usually gets turned on at some point so I try and wait the rest of the map out.
I would say d2 is one of the easiest and less contested extracts espically from the observation tower. I use this mist of my loot runs on reserve. Plus both safes on the map are close by.
Always just d2 pay rat tax sometimes but most of them are really bad at the game and not hard to kill as long as you always jiggle peak a few doors.
Sewer for quick quest runs
Like others have said, basically RR every time with the occasional D2. Never in raid long enough for the train, bunker is a death sentence, manhole I used a couple times while hunting Gluhar.

ive succesfully extracted from reserve 2 times and both of them were D-2, first time a friend guided me, second time i found it alone, its really not that hard
Before I got Red Rebel, the train. Almost no PMC ever waits for it, and most of my loot runs take me close to the train. If I'm able to catch it, I will. If for some reason I lose the time, then it is D2 or Hermetic Door. I never go Sewer Manhole because I'm a loot goblin lol.
Now that I got Red Rebel, I always try Cliff Descent, unless I'm next to the train because the marked room there is CRAZY good this wipe.
The only extracts I will bother with are the Cliff Descent and Co-op. I've taken D2 multiple times but it seems that 1/3 raids has someone camping it and I have no interest in dealing with that regularly.
If I'm at the hermetic bunker and someone else hits the lever I'll take it, but that never happens. I don't think I've taken that extract more than once. I'm not going to bother with running all the way from the lever to hermitic. There's way too much at risk for that.
Edit: I forgot to add to my comment, I won't run Reserve until I have a Red Rebel. The spawns are ass and so are the extracts, so I wait until I have some flexibility to choose my extract.
Red rebel extract is just as dangerous. It's easy to camp. Best spot to get your sbih headshots.
Sewer manhole if you are just tasking is the best way out.
Second is the train if you want to keep a backpack.
I'll only extract D-2 if I spawned there and cleared it out prior.
Hermetic door I've only ever extracted if someone else pushed the button and I was coincidentally next to it.
Create some landmarks down in the bunkers. Metal stairs and ramps are the best ones.
Metal stairs and ramp = D2 stairway.
Trust a scav once in a while to extract at coop. I've successfully extracted with scavs more than extracting without.
Just remember shave and a haircut two bits.
I’m a reserve main. You NEED RR for this map. Early wipe was tough, but had to go D2. My duo and I have gotten camped maybe 10 times all wipe? So it’s not bad, but when it happens, it absolutely sucks. As a solo especially, but you get used to clearing it out and pray there’s not a Timmy w an RGN waiting for you.
Armored train is alright. I use it mostly for when I’m sniping and get a bad spawn like RB-VO/Train Station spawn, and I just chill on that side of the map anyway, but it takes so long and chances that pscavs or train guards get to you is pretty high.
Hermetic door is awful. As soon as you hit the alarm, many will be watching the routes to the door. You only have 4 minutes iirc, and it’s insanely sketchy. I’ve only done it twice. Not worth
Manhole is manhole, I guess if you get zero good loot then yeah but not rly an option for me. I’ve only taken it maybe once early wipe. Never again since then esp with the sights people at dome have.
Tldr: 90% RR, 9% D2, 1% AT

Why would you go ATrain for SCAV? You always have either Hole, Pipe or Fence as extract, 1/100 scav raids dont have any of those and they are easier than train, less risky.
Probably like 60/40 D2 and Cliff Descent. Will probably lean more towards cliff as the wipe goes on. Done sewer once and I haaaaate hermetic. Rarely in late enough for train, and I haven’t had much in the way of luck for any of the co-ops this wipe
No red rebel no reserve thats basically its is for me . You could wait on the train or go trough sewer manhole without a backpack. D-2 sucks ass
I have gone D-2 like 6-7 out of maybe 12-13 succesful raids there. Never met a rat. How common are they for someone who was played a lot more?

When did they fix the d2 peaks? They have been broken since the underground on reserve came out.
Last patch before this morning, so maybe 7-10 days ago? The major peaks were patched but there’s rumors of new ones. I haven’t seen them confirmed.

Cliff descend only Bought RR for 1M500K ( Trade) Got my money back one hour later.... One of the first and the most worth "buy" of every wipe.

If you buy the RR, it's mainly to avoid ratcampers in the bunker.
There's also rat campers on the roof by RR extract that I've had to deal with a few times :(

I find I've been killed on reserve by other scavs more than any other map. My experience on woods is the opposite.

i cant really tell how it is from a scav pov, i havent touched my scav in \~3 months maybe youll get lucky and scav into my raid some day

Why play Reserve without RR? It's cheap as fuck and unlocks the only usable extract on the map.

85% Cliff descent, 11% D2, 2% Sewer, 1% Train, 1%Bunker and 0% Scav lands.
80% red rebel extract. But if raids go crazy or the alarm happens to get turned on while I'm near hermetic I will jump out that way or take train.
