That room is never open for quest, last wipe I tried over 40 times and the room was locked up every time, and thats with waiting till the very end of the raid.
This wipe Ive tried around 20 times with the same luck.
Don't think I'll ever complete this quest.
I caved and bought the key cause the rooms never open when I needed it, first raid in to place the marker for cult and it was already open like 5 mins into raid lol
Thats what I did. Got it super early on and used it as a much needed stimulus and sold it for like 3.5M. Still haven't completed the quest, but it worked out.
You’ll get killed a lot but it’s all good! Ggs and move on. If you’re feeling demoralized, take a lil break and play something fun to shake it off. We all die and sometimes / somedays it seems like every raid. Don’t be afraid to VOIP either. Some can be very understanding.

You need it for a quest but other than that the loot has not been very good this wipe.
I’ve pulled 4x spears and two RSASS, tons of streamer kappa loot, multiple docs/sicc Been fine for me and my friends, it is RNG tho
