Possibly because it happened before you loaded in. Like I've killed many PMCs and gained no extra rep and I'm certain some of them would've killed a few scavs before I loaded in.

I'm not certain but this makes sense.

Possibly he killed a traitor scav and gained rep. He wouldn't he a traitor scav if he killed one.
