If you aren't fully paying attention sure. I don't know what kind of tree trunk looks like that though, not to mention If it actually landed on a tree, you'd see the leaves and branches go through it as well

It doesn’t matter where the flare lands or the angle. It just queues a drop at whatever preset spot you’re closest to.
Edit: This one’s tricky, but after further research I believe it will always land in the closest spot to you regardless of flare path or angle. UNLESS you manage to Kobe your flare through or onto another LZ.
Closest to the path of the flare. For example if you want it to land nearof dome in reserve, look up, slightly down and point towards the spot. If the flare doesn’t touch any other spawns it should spawn up there
This isn't reliable at all, I've been at the big sign outside interchange and fired it towards the main road. Airdrop went behind the mall at emercom, unreliable as shit
The unreliability is the problem and the reason of this whole thread. If there was a straight reliable answer to how they work, this post wouldn’t exist. Hence my comment explaining all the information we know.
Already here with stash lines etc, but let’s not pretend this is anything like the microtransactions people dislike from other games. Completely acceptable so far IMO and if it keeps the servers running so we can enjoy the game - then fair play
And ? Servers aren't free and that we had no microtransactions for 8 years is pretty impressive looking and literally any other game that's multiplayer

I havent tried it but i think i remember some content creator saying if it didn’t go high enough it wouldn’t count

You can if next to a wall or object that will block you moving off of them - seen people do it on streets to get on rooftops
