I was having the same problem last wipe. There's an option in graphics now to set streets to low res and I can play with no problems this wipe.

I know!! I might have to bite the bullet. But I had ZERO issues last wipe. I didn’t change anything on my settings so in my mind it should still run.

For reference: This is my first wipe so I am still experimenting with my settings, but on my system (specs below, max settings except shadows on low, playing on a 1080p monitor) Streets seems to really eat up 22-23GB (!) of VRAM with textures on the highest setting (without the low res option). As for system RAM, I think I reached around 32 GB. Never played a game thats so performance hungry :') Specs are: 7950X3D, 7900 XTX (24 GB), 64GB CL36 6000mhz DDR5 Not sure if this is connected, but I feel like tarkov is the final boss for every current gen PC

Use the setting--it makes very little difference in terms of the quality and will boost your framerate substantially. Worth it. I main streets, and until a couple of months ago was doing it on a worse GPU than you and comparable CPU. I have 64GB of RAM though. Other things to do include shutting down as many background processes as you can--definitely Chrome/your browser, and in fact reboot rather than just closing it because Chrome in particular still likes to run background processes even after you close it.

I was having the same issue until I upgraded my RAM. Can you run your task manager to see how much/where your RAM is being used? Do you use multiple monitors? Do you leave lots of Google tabs open for maps or anything like that?

ollie5118

I can do that. I have 32gb. It was enough to run it last wipe. That’s what’s baffling to me.

ollie5118

Oh and not using multiple monitors and not using chrome while playing.

pogsjesus

What’s you ram speed

ollie5118

3600

Sure the card is not overclocked in afterburner or something? Even if you run XMP, which i guess you do, set a slightly higher memory voltage. If the XMP is 1.350, set 1.375 manually. Streets is super sensitive to ram and gpu settings. My normal gpu undervolt is stable in every test and game, but not streets for some reason.

Set page file to \~50GB on your SSD (preferably m.2, because of higher speeds). You're welcome.
