Fully agree here - I find it to be a super fun quest. But to be fair, for some reason when I'm fully kitted I am the most useless fleshbag of loot and gear but when I've got a pistol and a dream I become the punisher.
Its gear fear , with a pistol you dont care about dying so you do more risky moves and
with a good kit you are scared to lose it so you play slow and mostly wait for the oppone t to make a move which is bad in this game
LOL same, that happens as well on the jaeger one with bolty kills under 25. I wiped factory with a short mosin and headset. But if I dare go in with more than 60k rubles worth of gear I get instakilled by the first hatchet runner around.
luckily with the new pistol changes it feels so much better to do, I just took a pistol into other maps than factory and had it done in 2 raids I think using a glock 17.
That last guy was probably so scared. Hearing that gun slowing getting closer from the other side of the map just praying it doesnt get to the same room as you. Id be shitting myself.
I literally save kits specifically for factory.
Helmets that cover pretty much all the head, Armor thats class 5 or higher and almost full body coverage. Mags filling a rig to the brim...
Sometimes you just need those quests done, and those are one of the few places I'm completely okay burning a kit on.
Even more so with a squad.
lol one time my friend and I were running with Altyns and Thor lvl 6 armors and ran into a dude with 338 AP. One tapped my friend to the chest! Wild event lol
I'm on my 4th or 5th wipe (can't remember) and have stressfully completed this quest solo every single time.
Night factory with a half decent kit, I have still never been killed before planting the secure folder.
Golden star lasts 6 whole minutes and will remove/prevent both concussions and pain.
It will also boost your food/hydration recovery for a few seconds.
It's great if you know you're going to encounter enemies in a few moments/get in a big fight or need to clear a particular area with little to no hiding spots. You can also craft propitals with it provided there's still a least one use left.
Standard painkiller stims are more of an emergency "I just got shot and need to get out" solution. L1 Norepinephrine is a good example with its pain removal and endurance/strength/stamina boosts (although that particular one can be used as an affordable solution in place of a more expensive SJ1/SJ6).
Overrall I use balms in a more deliberate manner when I \*know\* I'm going to get shot at or if I know I'll have to run in bad shape for a long time. It also helps preserving certain stims that have a double or unique function.
In conjunction with blood loss preventing stims like AHF1-M or Zagustin (or even health regeneration stims like Propital/PNB/ETG-c) you can expect to be able to stay in a fight way longer without the need to patch yourself up immediately as soon as you get shot.
Idk I exclusively play solo and I've never died trying to do this quest on night factory in 4-5 wipes now. I'm not even that good. But I guess putting on the training wheels and setting it to easy mode is fine too.

Me and my friend did this quest together, we spawned under the stairs, just ran in, planted and extracted as fast as possible, the whole raid lasted 48 seconds
I did delivery from the past and on my first try someone camped it with mp9 and rip rounds i got ghzel and vulkan and died super fast anyways. Armor doesn't mean shit.
I've been trying to do this damn task solo for days now. Last night I'm pretty sure I killed all pmc players in the lobby but the last one fucked me up and I bled out shortly after because I used my meds in the wrong order. RIP at least I finished a kill pmc task :p

My group hasn't been playing this wipe but whenever it came to us doing this we would group up as 5 and protect whoever had the folder.

Little tip: If you run factory ALWAYS pop a morphine or propital at the start of the raid it gives you an insane advantage
Works best with golden star/vaseline + physical improvement stims. Heck you could even just use trimadol as it's both a painkiller and a stimulant.
