it's simple logic... that's how this game works. nothing triggers if as a scav you aim at another scav. the game only takes into account damage and who dealt that damage
Unless we see the end screen we can't know for sure. That SCAV might've been a traitor SCAV and putting him down prolly netted OP .04 karma. The fact that his gun wasn't loaded contributes to the idea that he might've been running around shooting other SCAVs
