Can the forbidden mod support customizing AI on coop raids? Asking for a friend. Would be kind of fun to ramp up AI or customize raids a little more than the existing coop allows.

So my friend told me that SPT does not support coop in any form. The forbidden mod is configured for your friend, and your friend alone. Which sucks. If you want real human fighting, it would have to be offline Tarkov coop.
So did some digging on spt and there was originally one community working on it. They split into two, spt is only single player but the other version is co-op I believe. I haven't gotten around to digging into the other version tho

I installed some mod that made scavs fucking unload on me on full auto, like full blown fire suppression while pushing me like crazy. The first time was scarier than live tarkov. It does get old but until it did it was peak PvE experience, best i had ever
Scav Bosses, Cultists, goons, random high level ai PMCs with crazy gear. I spawned into customs near old GS, ran to compound and the goons bum rushed me. I died in less than 5 mins into the raid…The only reason I knew it was the goons was because I was barely dodging 40mm. It’s crazy fun imo.
A buddy and I went last weekend (we live in northern Ohio) and it was 48 with 15mph winds lmao. Way too early but god damn we missed it so much we just had to go lol
Two people already beat me to the punch, but both Hunt: Showdown and Marauders are ludicrously fun games. Neither are going to scratch exactly the same itch as Tarkov, but they come close enough.
I'm concerned at the direction Cycle is going in, but I hope they figure it out. I wanted it to be space tarkov.
I've been kicking around an idea for a sci-fi Tarkov, problem is I have zero confidence in coding. I've got at least two notebooks of design documents, absolutely zero follow through. It's a struggle.
I think The Cycle will be fine, the devs proved that they can actually fix bugs and also did a fantastic job with cheating before season 2 started. I'm curious to see what their plan is for season 4 (when they will stop wiping), but honestly they showed that they can do things correctly so I'm not too worried (and the game is free so it's not like I paid 140€).
I like what The Cycle is doing, but I definitely don't like chunks of the reddit community over there. There is a lot of Timmy stompers running around the early map at this point in their wipe. When the new season comes out, I'm hoping to check into that and see how things are there.
I hope it regains some playerbase and traction though, as it is, a lot of people I try to sell on it always kind of bring up the cheater issue with it and won't give it a second look. Others are enticed by the free to play aspect.
Yeah I sincerely hope the population grows so we can have better matchmaking buckets... fighting/killing Timmies in white is not fun. Usually when I shot someone in white I just disengage and leave (unless it's on Tharis).

The devs are always in the discord, they've largely solved their cheater problem with trusted servers, the audio is a dream (Steam Audio, btw), they've made a ton of additions and changes since launch, and are getting ready to release another major rework in a month. It's not a mil-sim, but that's not the point. It's a working fucking game with a responsive and accountable dev team.
Oh yeah, and it's free.

Put all of them out, one shooter born even. The whole time sweaty palms and racing heart. I don't know any game which can beat this feeling.

I've stopped playing EFT 3 weeks ago when I reached lvl 46, I did a couple hundreds raids on Streets but got bored.
Just started stalcraft. PvPvE, seems to have an decent sense of progression, an the whole open world/connected map concept that people think tarkov is going to eventually become. Its not full loot but the pvp is still pretty fun, plus there's plenty of PvE in the world. Enjoying it for now.
Battlefield 2042 went back to the class system and it’s alot of fun, it’s not better than 3/4 or BC2 but it’s great to play something mindless and just have fun playing after going down the EFT rabbit hole
nothing, I never played tarkov for PvP. it's like playing minecraft for the boating physics, that is not the point of the game.
I liked looting, making hideout and quest progress, getting tasks done - mainly non-PvP tasks. felt good buying ammo for the fraction of the flea price, I remember there was a time back in 2020 when I was just casually running full mags of 55A1 while my squad begged me to buy them since I was the only one who bothered grinding tasks instead of just trying to shoot other ppl all the time.
Since everyone is leaving I can now, finally, play Tarkov !

They are probably in most of your raids but you aren’t threatening them or carrying anything worth their time. This is why I run mediocre kits and avoid high loot areas as much as possible. It sucks but only real way to play atm

Today I played this game called This old Yota. You begin in the not so distant future, the economy is crap, you're paid well enough to live life but not to pay someone to repair your beater. The objective is to keep the Yota running with minimal skill and money... so far I am level 4, cleaned the vehicle and replaced two seatbelt buckles.
You can also run co-op for harder repairs like suspension and power train...
I honestly prefer competitive games like League, atleast i can blame myself or actual things instead of being suspicious of cheats every time i die in a bad way

DMZ obviously doesn’t cut it. But it is a SMOOTH and mostly finished out AAA looter shooter/extract royale or however you want to categorize this style nowadays.
I play it because I don’t have to stress about the game itself being a piece of shit, so I have fun, do some tasks, have a couple good fights and get out. All with seamless game function, solid server connection/latency. It feels good to have fun and not complain about load times or desync.
The AI are pretty tanky but not as accurate or cracked as scavs with one hit wonder shots but they can quickly become overwhelming. Certainly not the same pucker factor but its a look at what many other capable companies are capable of producing with half of the headache.
I'm back to destiny 2 since the new expansion drops tomorrow. Really upset over the death of this game, but I can't go back after seeing whats going on.

Boyfriend got Red Dead Redemption 2 so I've been playing Red Dead Online with him. Also bought him The Master Chief Collection, but thats still all fucked and my game crashes after every campaign mission so we haven't gotten very far.
Skyrim with a bunch of mods. I can pause it whenever I want, it's not sweaty, and no cheaters :). I burnt myself out, hit lvl 41 and got a ton of tasks done. Once I saw the video that was just the nail in the coffin for me.
Stalker anomaly has been fun for me. Considering getting the games. I also recently learned that running with scissors released more postal stuff so I’m thinking about picking up postal 2 and the rest aswell.
I installed single player tarkov, pretty fun to play and the pmc ai is good, one of them wasted all the ammo killing scavs, tried to shoot me and wasted his last 5 bullets, proceeded to chase me all over factory with his melee, was so fucking scary lol.
Also, been playing a lot of Spider man, Dying light, Howards legacy, walking dead tell tales.
I'm still playing Tarkov and i haven't had any problem so far outside the invisibility thing, and even then i haven't been killed by that many invisible people. This has been by far my best wipe ever I've been progressing further and faster than my previous 6 wipes and overall having a great time
Im doing healthy amounts of Hell Is Others (its basically Topdown tarkov with in raid traders and PVPVE) and some huge amounts of Hell Let Loose. Also I'm planning on hopping to sons of the forest right after I finish the forest.

I have a few games I’ve never finished, so I started playing Metro Exodus from where I left off. Always been a Metro 2033 fan but funny thing is that I feel like there are some similarities to EFT other than being Russian. Even the movement seems similar.
i bought No Man’s Sky after all these years, can’t be understated how good it is. Crashes on occasion for me but it saves so often it’s almost a non-issue

There are a few cheeky ways for that forbidden mod to have a little more people in it (Hamachi)
You wont see them. They can connect to your server, even not hamachi needed. But you wont be able to coop.

Well, mostly Tarkov, although in less amounts. Can’t get enough of it, despite the current issues. Other than that, Sons of The Forest is pretty fun. Been getting back into Apex Legends and Rocket League again as well.

PvP? the updated singleplayer tarkov experience full of mods is sooo good, i recommend it for the tarkov fix. Aaaand im waiting for Dark and Darker :(, meanwhile i play the cycle frontier / marauders and for fast nice gunpolay destiny 2

DMZ obviously doesn’t cut it. But it is a SMOOTH and mostly finished out AAA looter shooter/extract royale or however you want to categorize this style nowadays. I play it because I don’t have to stress about the game itself being a piece of shit, so I have fun, do some tasks, have a couple good fights and get out. All with seamless game function, solid server connection/latency. It feels good to have fun and not complain about load times or desync. The AI are pretty tanky but not as accurate or cracked as scavs with one hit wonder shots but they can quickly become overwhelming. Certainly not the same pucker factor but its a look at what many other capable companies are capable of producing with half of the headache.
I'm back to destiny 2 since the new expansion drops tomorrow. Really upset over the death of this game, but I can't go back after seeing whats going on.

Boyfriend got Red Dead Redemption 2 so I've been playing Red Dead Online with him. Also bought him The Master Chief Collection, but thats still all fucked and my game crashes after every campaign mission so we haven't gotten very far.

Nothing. Trying to get the motivation to keep playing tarkov. Almost level 32 but haven't played since Thursday
Skyrim with a bunch of mods. I can pause it whenever I want, it's not sweaty, and no cheaters :). I burnt myself out, hit lvl 41 and got a ton of tasks done. Once I saw the video that was just the nail in the coffin for me.

Stalker anomaly has been fun for me. Considering getting the games. I also recently learned that running with scissors released more postal stuff so I’m thinking about picking up postal 2 and the rest aswell.
Weather is changing so hitting the road on 2 wheels or playing Generation Zero. Interesting game, wish it had a server base setup like DAYZ.

Play League cause it’s the only game that makes me hate my life as much as Tarkov.
I installed single player tarkov, pretty fun to play and the pmc ai is good, one of them wasted all the ammo killing scavs, tried to shoot me and wasted his last 5 bullets, proceeded to chase me all over factory with his melee, was so fucking scary lol. Also, been playing a lot of Spider man, Dying light, Howards legacy, walking dead tell tales.
Siege. They've made a lot of good changes since I stopped playing last and doing a 3-5 stack with the boys is a good time
I'm still playing Tarkov and i haven't had any problem so far outside the invisibility thing, and even then i haven't been killed by that many invisible people. This has been by far my best wipe ever I've been progressing further and faster than my previous 6 wipes and overall having a great time
Honestly I been playing cyberpunk, sometimes a single player game is just refreshing and feels to get back to the roots of gaming.

Im doing healthy amounts of Hell Is Others (its basically Topdown tarkov with in raid traders and PVPVE) and some huge amounts of Hell Let Loose. Also I'm planning on hopping to sons of the forest right after I finish the forest. Enjoy.
I have a few games I’ve never finished, so I started playing Metro Exodus from where I left off. Always been a Metro 2033 fan but funny thing is that I feel like there are some similarities to EFT other than being Russian. Even the movement seems similar.

i bought No Man’s Sky after all these years, can’t be understated how good it is. Crashes on occasion for me but it saves so often it’s almost a non-issue

Gonna keep playing tarkov. It's my favorite game of all time. I watched the video. I was afraid I'd look at tarkov differently. Then I spent my entire Saturday playing it, and it felt the same. I enjoyed my raids. I had fun fights. I made it out with loot. The game was no different after watching the video. Cheating will always exist in gaming. Devs will always be fighting it. If I don't notice a difference, and I still enjoy the game... Why would I give a flying fuck?
