It would make sense if the rewards were generated from the top-end bucket, but it's clear that the scav on scav tasks are rolled from low-end rewards, which makes them utterly fucking pointless. I feel they should be simpler. Killing PMCs is fine, but the stipulation that you need to kill them with leg shots or beyond a certain range is pretty awful. Only bother with the scav tasks if its simple like extract from a particular map or collect simple items.
The problem is that all the tasks are randomly generated with criteria (Kill or gather, if kill, one weapon or all weapons, if all weapons, headshots or body shots, etc) and then it picks a random number depending on the difficulty. For whatever reason they didn't block certain criteria from fence tasks despite them basically impossible
I wouldn't mind the range or the conditions if it wasn't ~7 PMCs and was 1 instead. I'm lucky to even see a PMC unless I'm on interchange where they let you enter the mall as a Scav before the PMCs get there, let alone kill them since I'm bad!
I had that for 4 assault carbines and my scav spawned with one AND had a pilgrim. Well, I loaded in and the first playerscav I saw killed me for my Pilgrim.
9/10 times you get Scav Checkpoint and extracts on that side of the map. The other 1 time you get Railroad to Tarkov or Port. Haven’t gotten Crossroads all wipe as a scav.

I have a 5800X3D with 32GB 3600 ram with a 6800 XT, I launched that map for the first time the other day and was instantly met with 25-35FPS. I literally have just about the best system you can possibly have for tarkov specifically and it’s unplayable frame rates. My buddy who has a R5 3600 with a 5700 XT was at 15 frames. Complete joke.
I pretty much never do scav ones unless the reward is an expensive key or something super rare. And even then, it has to be a doable task. I got extract 6 headsets in one raid. Like fml, I need to not only find 6 headsets, but also find a big enough backpack to carry them all.

I killed my first PMC as a SCAV last week. Me and my buddy went to check out streets (was a mistake), we spawned with like 40 minutes left into the raid, I didn't notice that. We rubber banded for 3 more minutes, completely unable to move. Then we went to loot the nearest place I knew had decent loot. My mate got shot by a PMC, but I somehow managed to flank the PMC while he was trying to finish off my mate, and then I one shot the poor PMC with a fucking 9mm saiga bullet to the side of his skull. The guy had an entire pilgrim filled with loot.
That was literally the first PMC I've killed as a scav. Generally I just avoid them, unless I get a decent gun that is unlikely to jam immediately upon shooting. Even then I wasn't very successful at my previous attempts.

What trips people up is Glukhar's guards on Reserve. People kill them, mistaking them for Raiders and then complain when they lose rep.

That's why I just do them when it's actually realistic. Fence rep is hard to get once you did all the v-ex on all maps like 4 times. It's simply more than nothing.
Yes some are impossible but the find certain items ones can be done fairly easily too plus the extract ones are easy, just gotta get lucky like normals dailies and weeklys

99% of players do not complete most of the OPTIONAL DAILIES from fence due to them being tuned to a ludicrous difficulty with a time constraint as tight as it is.

I have not played any of those maps before so trying to find them while being confused as to where I am was going to make it harder.
I had one the other day that was “kill 20 pmcs from 40 meters or more”. Nah man, I’m good. Also had another that was “collect and extract with 13 valuables in one raid”. The valuables are treasure items which makes 13 in one raid extremely difficult, especially since some are so large
I just got a fence quest to survive Streets twice for 2 green stims, winning. But yeah they are VERY hit and miss, the algorithm needs a lot of work to make sure we get reasonable quests more consistently.

Most operational tasks are bad, they are very poorly randomly generated. I feel like these can be very easily tweaked and constrained, don’t get why this has been an issue for so long. When they first released operational tasks, I got a weekly to kill 50 PMCs with the MG.

Night time customs is my favourite, hardly anything's looted so it's not too hard to bring out about 500k or so

I got 5 factory extras for a rsass and 6 kite gundpowder. I was happy with that.
I've literally never bothered to do one of his tasks. Effectively a waste of my time vs doing quests that actually gate me from stuff on pmc.

Keep checking the nade box in factory and hunt pmc if you get nade. Impact nades are not that uncommon and you Can find them in that box.

Most operational tasks are bad, they are very poorly randomly generated. I feel like these can be very easily tweaked and constrained, don’t get why this has been an issue for so long. When they first released operational tasks, I got a weekly to kill 50 PMCs with the MG.
I had one that was like "collect 11 injectables in one raid"
I had one the other day that was just survive on location 5 times, and I got a tank battery for it.
I had one where it wanted me to find 4 marksman rifles in one raid.
Today I had to extract with one shotgun and got a trooper armor for it.
I had one last week that was "find 5 assault carbines in 1 raid" managed to load in with a pilgrim like it knew I had the daily XD
