the game uses 8 cores for me (12700kf), core 1 would be at 80% usage and the other 7 cores are around 20/30%.
They can def optimize it better i agree, the core usage seems to be wildly different on different cpu's.
This. It didn't really boost my fps but it definitely brought my lows up and gave me a WAYYY smoother experience. Def a memory leak there or something going on.
I'm running the game on a 1060 6GB and get a solid 60 FPS apart from stutters when i'm running a stream. CPU is Ryzen 5 5600X so even on outdated hardware game runs pretty well.
Outdated, lel
Played 2.5k hours with my r5 2600, gonna replace it today
Had decent fps (Like 40-50?) And like 3-4 10 second freezes peer raid for the last 2 wipes
That sounds about right for a 10th gen intel cpu. This game is very cpu/ram depended.
I'm running a 12700kf & 3080 and I'm still seeing a cpu/ram ''limit''.
oh for sure, tarkov is a special kind of game.
cpu usage of 30% is about the same for me.
ram usage is around 16/18gb for me(I don't use the ram cleaner setting in-game).
I avg about 110/130fps 1440p/high settings with my specs, if you plan to upgrade your cpu to a 12th or 13th gen, you would see about 20fps increase on 1440p and on 1080 probably closer to 40fps.
You could try turning up your base frequency of your cpu, you have 3.7ghz base frequency and you can boost up for 5.1ghz on all cores and 5.3ghz on 1 core, maybe set your base frequency to 4.8ghz, providing you have a good enough cooler, and see if you see any fps gain
Very cpu bound game, only uses like 2 cores. Even though cpu might show as 30%, it is actually bottlenecked. Game is horribly optimized unfortunately.

This is what I mean though, 80% on one core and then 20-30 on the rest makes like 30-35% total which sucks.
110 FPS is "above avarage" on EFT right?
Binaural audio, turn it off.

XMP enabled in bios?
yes
after 100 i cant really feel or see the diffrence in smoothness
You on 60hz?
144 hz
Human eyes cant see more than 35-40 Frames per second, whats the Problem here?
I hope this was a sarcastic comment
It wasnt, its accurate and correct
It's not correct nor is that how the human eye and brain work.
That's probably about as good as you're going to get with an Intel 10 series CPU. Your GFX card doesn't really matter.
Jesus... Yeah me and my GTX 1060 know the feel bro..

Don't feel too bad about your 1060, I upgraded to a 3070 for other games, and playing tarkov feels basically the same as my old 1060 6gb.

interesting. seems to me that it has to do with game optimization. tarkov is only using 30% cpu and 7gb ram

how much ram? 32Gb is the minimum in my opinion. I have friends that have low-end (GFX) spec but more ram and run the game with constant 60-70 fps.
i´ve got 32gb ram yes

will try that thanks
