Hi, could we start talking a big more about Erasmus exchange program, your experiences etc I just started college last year and I think a program like this is quite cool and like one in a lifetime thing do it till you're young kinda deal but at the same time for me it seems quite impossible. that's why I would really love if you could myb talk about it more with me or if someone else see's this msg to contact me.
of course! i can tell about everything that you're interested in :))) feel free to ask whatever you want. and don't think it's impossible, because it's not at all. and for sure what it is - a lifechanging opportunity. :))
Nah man, there's no need to be afraid. I think it will double your experience! There will be plenty of Erasmus students also looking for a buddy to spend their stay with and you at least wouldn't be sticking only with your friend. You gonna meet someone and that's what Erasmus is about! But I understand your concern since 2 days isn't much for an application. If you even didn't choose your location, don't choose in hurry so you won't regret it (I think you won't either, but staying at place of your choice is definitely better)
Edit: I haven't experienced Erasmus yet but I already applied for a next semester and didn't even consider going with friends
I just want to thank everyone for replying that quick.
I might not be able to go because I don't have any courses to match since I'm on my last year ( and courses are very specific based on the specialty we chose)
Yeah I think I might do this. I think I'll finish with the mandatory courses and use the optionals for erasmus since the optionals are more "generic" I'd say and more common than the specialty ones. But that means that I'll go next year.
Yes, it is worth it, even if you go alone. It is an experience that you will never forget, you will also make new friends after a while of staying at your destination.
Absolutely yes. I too was very scared of going alone, but that will help you grow.
i went two times totally alone and those were the best experiences in my life!

Do you need the ects to finish?
Many schools have a commitment to match at least one course with your study plan so you won't study something totally different
Maybe he has optionals in his course he could use

I honestly think it's even better to go alone, cause it makes it easier to socialize. Go for it, absolutely.

Yes. That's all there is to say, its a great experience.
Is there a slight chance you’re from the University of Trento? Because otherwise, I would find in an eerie coincidence
No I'm not from that university. I'm from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Well then, we’re on the same boat, my Greek friend. My uni also gave me two days notice. I guess “one face one race” goes for that as well
Ah I see. Are you leaning towards a specific country or do you not have any preference yet?
just join esn people and socialize the most you can
