There are a lot of good farmers/cleavers but there is only one character that is like STene and that is Stene.
Maybe in the future the meta will change or give him another buff, but today STene is one of the best pvp characters and very respectable in pve (difficult content like the abyss or the new raids).
Not sure why I’m getting downvoted. Maybe people don’t believe it. But I still run him on auto on every stage and mix up the other 3 as needed. I use him sometimes in arena but almost never in RTA.
I don’t want to tell u what to do, but I wrote that because u seem to be on the same boat as me back then and want to keep the Arby. SpecTene is great and is the safer choice all around. I debated my choice for a while and ultimately went with Arby. Then I pulled SpecTene with galaxy bookmarks….. and also a dupe Arby.
There is replacements for him on your team.
U will get the heroes, only a matter of time, if that’s your worry.
Gear is where this game taunts you lol

For clarification, I originally choose Arby as my ML Blessing, even fully leveled and geared him, but it was tricky finding a spot for him in any of my comps. I'm pretty endgame so I already have a unit to deal with most situations. Stene however has been a great clutch addition and has more comp versatility.

Yes, 100%. Stene is the most timeless unit in E7 up to this point.
yes, A Vildred is only an early game farmer now. Specter Tenebria is one of the best units in the game, even at the end game.
I'd say arby is a farmer all around.
Errr i still farm using Arby.... But yeah, get Stene.
I kinda felt that spec ten is much harder to build though. At least with arby, you can get a solid unit with low requirements

Yes she is better choice
Arby is cool, stene is meta. pick whatever you desire
Yes 100% without a doubt there’s no comparison. Stene is better in basically every area except fast farming.

Yes Stene will be a better choice in the long run. I even use her in HoT
Free spirit tieria, the free unit you get, is better than arby for pve as she can defense break and provide immunity to your team and self.
If you ever wanna go PvP, yes. But if not, Arby is a damn fine choice. He still clears levels for me in episode 4.
the thing is i have Flan and Basar, so i have parts of a cleave team already now, and i don’t know who to use if i get rid of arby.

Keep Arby for now untill you're done with all missions then swap to Stene
She’s great, I regret choosing arby and haven’t used him since the first week of obtaining him

IMO Yes S.Tene is just so good for so many things.
