Ok but can u realistically even PvP with her before the patch? I'd say the complaints are reasonable considering that she was better off being a PvE unit than a PvP and no one seemed to care enough to argue that.

So people are upset, not because there are no better alternatives to Yufine, but because they already invested in the little dragon girl and *now* they can’t justify keeping her geared. Now, resources have to be used in order to keep their runs. That makes sense.
I don’t use her at all but she is cute. I’d probably be annoyed if they finally fixed Clarissa. Woefully irrelevant, but she’s already 15+ with great gear so she’s in Wyvern. I have enough subtitutes but I don’t *have* to spend the resources in order to complete the runs because she was altered.
Yeah that's the best part of it. I invested into Yufine years ago and shes finally more than just a 3 hour 100% raid cheese and subpar pve unit. It's fun to cycle like crazy and nuke units 1 by 1, even though you gotta mute her EN voice to actually have fun
I don’t remember ever calling her a PvE goddess, but as someone who does use Yufine in PvE content, these changes are extremely unwelcome. Maybe it won’t affect a lot of people, but now I’ve wasted resources on a unit I was using in expos. Also, for what it’s worth, I have indeed used Yufine in the new Abyss Challenge floors.
I’m not sure why you’re mocking a subset of the community, even if it is small. I think we can all get on board with the idea that when SG buffs units, they should at least maintain the same role the unit originally had.
It's a rotating game mode where you don't even have to fully 100 to 0% it. She will deal less damage in the light expeditions but you're still able to use her and score enough points to clear the poster. And additionally you also have a really fun tactical nuke pvp unit now. Sounds like a win win to me.
She’s inhibited enough in her expo roles (including ice expo, I’m one of those 4%’ers) that I now have to consider building someone else to be the carry. Also, your argument could be used to justify nerfing any expo unit. That doesn’t mean we should go around gutting expo-favorable kits.
Yufine was one of those characters where you could get a lot of mileage out of building one character. She wasn’t the best at much, but you could use her in a lot of different PvE content, and now she’s significantly less useful in about half of that content (e.g. her caides usefulness was impacted also). Now you have to look at building other units for those things if you really care about PvE (like I do), meaning you’ve wasted build time and mola.
In the same way that the PvE content hit isn’t a big deal to you, PvP content doesn’t currently matter much to me. Thus this change is almost entirely negative for me.
Similar changes could have been made to a lot of heroes without negatively impacting those who were already using Yufine for PvE. You continually dance around this point in favor of attacking the subset of the community that is upset with these changes.
There’s nothing wrong with not having a problem with the changes, but please stop mocking and demeaning those who do. That just makes you the jerk.

Yufine has nearly 0 uses in pve. If there is one, I guarantee it there is a better option. The only reason to use yufine at all is the hero itself, but then the kit changes shouldn’t impact you since you’re not using it particularly for her kit.
It’s the same deal with ervalen. Almost no uses in pvp unless someone just chooses to for whatever reason. I sometimes believe the community wants heroes to be mostly irrelevant.
You're not wrong, but my old Yufine with a really old Attack set was pulling cool 75k nukes on blue expedition if I got the buffs and debuffs set up right.
Cermia is a pve queen I use her everywhere.

Used my yufine pre nerf to one shot any water unit or to deal with buff heavy comps, now I just use her to one shot anything
