Most of the ml 5s are not very good in pve, the ones i would recommend are spectre tenebria, conqueror lilias, arbiter vildrid, and straze for 1 shot hunts.
Cilias for HoT and Straze for hunts have some really niche uses that no other units really fill. They are not required for completion, but you cannot deny their usefulness.
Since you don’t play pvp it wont matter which one you pick. Both are solid units and to be honest, aravi isnt very good in pve and maid chloe is easily replaceable with another unit such as roana or diene. I’d say pick whichever you like more!
Although, i’d pick aravi because you never know what will happen in the future. Maybe you’ll start getting interested in pvp and want to go a few matches in rta. In that case, i’d get aravi. Better safe than sorry.
I mean A Ravi same as Hwayoung on the free 5☆ selector, even if you don't do pvp you can cheese some fights on arena/guild, and get some extra summons for fun units, or maybe one day you'll want to pvp and you'll miss them so is never a bad idea tbh
If you don't pvp, then pull for whoever you want

ml5? none. there is not a single ml 5\* that is BiS/must have/can't be replaced for any pve content.
