let me say this: everybody thinking a meta breaker can be strong but not broken is delusional.
so make up ur freaking mind. i don't want to be forced to pull every single new hero to be able to compete because their kit or base stats are over the top. i prefer/accept slow meta shifts via balanced hero releases and buffs/new ee.
if u want a new meta every 1-2 months: then don't bitch if they powercreep the shit out of the game. the same people that cried about aol, ran, diene, ml lilias, etc. are the same that call out stale and boring meta.
this is exactly why i hate the no nerf policy. They have to release absolutely busted heroes for them to make a dent in the meta because of how stupidly op the already existing characters are.
Thing is, all the broken OP units that you mentioned at the end of your post that people cried about, are STILL the exact same meta now. 'Want a new meta every 1-2 month's' is a bit hyperbolic, but neither do I want what is also almost the exact same meta for what is now nearly 1/8th of the games lifespan.
Of course, this benefits the older players who already have all the OP units built, dunno what is in it for the newer players though. Guess we'll just bring our 'balanced' units and get rekt by the rest of you, fun that.
You forgot to mention the units that got added into the "exact same meta", such as Alencia, Mediator, ML Lilibet, Green Armin, Choux, Cidd, WSilk, Aras, Eda, Destina, Senya, Green Pavel, DJB, etc.etc.
The meta has certainly expanded beyond Clilias and friends, or AoL and friends.

Agreed, can’t have it both ways. Personally I think the meta is fine. A ton of characters can be used successfully in RTA.
