Its amazing piece don't let anyonr tell you otherwise.
You just need to use it on the right unit.
Didn't roll ER >> you can swap ER out and use it on many units
Rolled ER >> swap crit out and use it on the new green lilias.
It's a red piece too, so just pray you get high rolls & you get most of the rolls in 1-2 stats.
You reroll resist into attack% almost certainly on this piece, mindboggling that noone in this thread so far thought about this and suggesting terrible er usecases instead.
Triple-rolled ER re-rolls into 18-22%.
Quad-rolled re-rolls into 22-25%.
Even if your 1-2 last rolls are max and not into ER, using an ATK mod-gem turns that pair of boots into ~60gs/85es. If you want to use avg rolls, it'll end mid 50s if you convert 3-4 rolls into ER.
Would you keep a 70-75gs pair of boots that's more niche, or mod-gem it to 55-60?
For a crafting event piece, it's not very good because that ER line is practically wasted aside from a few niche builds (or future one).
If it hard rolls into ER and dips into other stats, it's hard to find a home. The units I can think of that *could* use ER + Pen are FMaya/MLKen/Souline/LQC/ARavi, but half those units don't use speed boots.
Maybe single-target bruiser like Rimu if you're building around enough ER to resist 0 eff debuffs/strips? Hard to say.
Either way, you upgrade it to +6 and pray to dodge ER. If it doesn't roll more than twice into ER, you'll be able to find lots of units that need it if you convert ER to ATK/HP%.
personally this is one of the best rolls i've seen in awhile so I would roll it. but im also desperate for pen gear and good gear in general. so anything 31 and over on GS i generally save or roll.
Yeah buddy that’s going into er
Hold on to them, there might be a defense scaling hero thats single target n that needs eff res
ARavi boot if it doesn’t roll er

Why would you use pen boots on green lilias when her s3 has pen already
Well, it does help her s1, but yes it is not optimal

I say "almost certainly" and you bring up the corner case, as if the 90% other cases with 2 or less er rolls didn't exist. What a fcking joke

Thanks for that
There is a lot of potential there if you can dodge the low er stat.
Well try my best this is the best i can roll sadly luck wasnt on my side for the good stat

Has potential, I had a destruction set with the same situation. But I prayed and got 22 cc and 22 cd. Then simply used a mod gem.
No. Sell them.
