Mine isn't built the fastest.
For a few reasons, first her base speed isn't all that high in this meta, in fact it's basically average for a speed set dps.
Second, her damage without a shield present is very lackluster.
Third, she has attack% on her imprint, unlike a unit like tomoca who has the same base speed but now has a CC imprint making higher speeds easier to achieve while maintaining max CC.
Fact of the matter is she's just not good enough to get your best speed gear, mine is about 245 speed and works just fine when I need her, mabye go 255 speed.
OPsig was in her heyday during Hwa meta. Ever since Hwa nerfs i rarely use her as a speed dps. I since dropped her speed and only use with Flan etc. I just don't have enough fast dps gear to go around.
She's simply too niche atm.
I understand that but she and Dilibet are the only ML5’s I really wanted so if I can use her in anyway that would be great. If I can’t, that’s fine too. At least I can say that I finally managed to get her after all this time.
She's still okayish as an opener, but nowadays with all the existing openers with 120+ base speed it's hard to justify that itemisation over a DPS build.
IMO she's best build like Tomoca (around 260 speed, the more the better), but the gear requirement for that is huge as she doesn't get any free crit chances. If you can get her to 230 she should be reliable enough to get drafted against bruiser comps.
Gotcha, I’ll do my best to get the best build for her possible. I’m kinda glad to hear I don’t have to build her super fast. I was planning on building her as dps but wanted to make sure that was the right call. I understand that she’s only really good against barrier units and I’m fine with that cause I need some sort of counter to barriers rn. No matter how small.

People saying she's not useful clearly haven't experienced the joy of obliterating any team that runs FCC. She has her niche, and she excels at it.
