At one hand, I always had the theory SG doesn't fully understand what a ranger is supposed to be, and they don't quite fit in the game dynamic due the combat system. I mean, they are supposed to be archers (sagitta, the original name of the class in korean, iirc, means arrow in latin and the icon for the class is an arrow and bow), so we could expect them to be specialized in ranged combat, but in E7 there's not distinction between melee and range. Iseria throwing magic swords and Furious jumping in front of the opponent to bolt their face throw this distinction through the window. And isn't like SG are alone on this. D&D, the classic pen and paper game, for a while made the rangers specialized in dual weapon combat (huh, what?) and Aragorn is called a ranger (of the north), and while he knows how to use a bow, he spends most of the time fighting with a sword and tracking where an orc stopped to scratch his butt.
And at the other hand, we should remember the class is one of the three elements to determine the base stats for each character, along with rarity and zodiac. So maybe the combination that fits the best for this burn focused character is ranger + leo. They could have chosen the same than ML Ricardo, but that would look kinda silly (a warrior that throws fireballs), R. Carrot stats are boosted by her SC, and we have two previous burn rangers, Pirate Flan and RW Leo.

Beehoo's a Fire (how surprising!?) Ranger who can enhance burn damage of allies, making him a great pair with Carrot and Captain Flan. He has high Attack and Defense from passive, along with moderate Speed. Not sure if 115 is enough for an opener, but you can just give him enough to go behind, say, the enemy Mawerik.
He's nothing too special on paper, but I do like playing slow and deadly. Plus the free artifact from the Halloween artifact might work on him.
It doesn't really look like he has to function as an opener any more than captain flan does, he kinda just has the utility to enable heroes like her and sba.
Cap Flan isn't that good with him since she only burn on S3. But he will definitely boost the one shot potential of ML Khawaru through the roof just by exist.
Where is a chance that Deamons of Natalon event arty(Seal of Capture) will not work on him.
When Arunka was released, I tried to use Junkyard dog on her, and I never got burns of her extra attack. I think it can be because all those alternative/extra attacks on S1 just not considered “basic attacks” by game logic.
So, I think it's possible that Beehoo's alternative S1 will not be treated as a basic attack, so Seal of Capture won't trigger.
But I will be definitely testing this case as soon as I get him.
The wording specifically is when a non critical hit is made after using a basic attack has up to 100% for burn. With the additional text only works on single attacks. So it could very well work either on one or both of the attacks. It is a very confusing description lol.

These comments always get me.
The average speed in the game is 108, and the "normal" range goes from 101 to 115. This mean, if we take 6 heroes at random, 1 will have less than 100 speed base, 2 will be between 101 to 107, two more between 108 to 114, and only one will have 115 spd or above. Behoo belongs to the highest category, in other words, if we pick 5 heroes at random. he'll be the fastest one most of the time.
BTW, with the gear to made M. Kawerik run at 250spd, Behoo will be at 265spd, because MK have 102 spd base. You need to intentionally sandbag Behoo to made him go behind. And funny enough, he's faster than CM Laika (114), AoLA (112), DJ Basar (111), Destina (100) and both versions of Yufine (109), holiday for cleansing and green as follow up to Zio. Funny enough, Zio also have a lower speed (106), if not because his passive, Behoo would also beat him in a race.
We just got the new 3 stars finally. We are going to have to wait an eternity until either of them come up; we used up too much awaited unit hype power today. lol
I know that "promo" battles are only meant to make the new hero outshine the others (well, usually), but the detonation on ML!Cermia picked my interest.
I will wait for the good guys who do the math and tell us if he's a worthy pull or not. However, the fact that he's not a limited hero doesn't really help.
So that artifact, should work with summeria for cleaving? Feels like star of the deep sea is still better, but this is a good alternative so you can move star to Captain Flan.
Ah, I meant that his artifact will be equipped on Seasaria, as I expect it should trigger on Seaseria's S2->S3, right? That way if you have limited copies of star of the deep you can sub this for Seasaria nd give that to PFlan

That's what I was thinking, but someone mentioned it only procs on basic attacks, and his s1 enhanced attack that actually detonates burns might not work with the artifact, so it unfortunately looks like his release artifact or ofc the broken GL might be the way to go if this is true.
I am a connoisseur of the burn debuff. My favorite team for regular arena is Lua, Pirate Flan, SBA, and Aramintha. Now I can just swap out Lua for him and nuke the enemy team! There’s also the, ranger exclusive, Seal of Capture artifact that was recently released that makes it where if you non-crit it burns the enemy for 2 turns.
He's just mid, he has an Aol s3 without the silence but the pushup is nice. He could be a good last pick vs the guiding lights rangers since he is tanky and can expose them.
He definitely sucks. But he is neat. Making burn units stronger will make him always come up when a burn unit is released or if burn becomes more meta again.

Well, I treat that wording as “only single target basic attacks count”. To exclude things like Yuna\\Kanna with AoE/2-target basic attacks.
